It's Lancashire derby eve and all Liverpool and Manc supporters will be dreaming of a glorius day. They'll also be filled with dread at the prospect of defeat.

These matches aren't about fun, that's for sure, they're about winning, at all costs, regardless of whether they're deserved or not. I don't care if Sturridge dives for the winning penalty and mancs don't care if Lovren gets sent off for 'walking on the cracks in the pavement'. In the words of the ex Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis:

"Just win baby".

I found one - 2005!!

so in 10 cup semi's since 2000 only 1 has had second leg away....and that was vs mighty Watford

Losing our way lately. Just in time to visit the Mancs who are bang in form. Bit worrying this but at least Coutinho is playing again. Hopefully get Hendo and Matip back to steady the ship too.

Secondly, though the result was frustrating, now these kids will get another go at Plymouth. Good experience is it not?
