    Lennox Holdings PLC ("Lennox" or "the Company")                

                             Suspension of shares                              

Following the withdrawal of certain credit facilities and unusually late
payments from customers, the Directors of Lennox have today requested a
suspension in trading of the Company's shares pending a review of working
capital facilities.

The Directors are in discussions with their lenders and other parties and are
considering all strategic options available to the Company.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
