I can't remember when these last put out any news other than issuing more shares or shuffling directors around a bit. I hope they're actually doing something and haven't just gone to the cinema/racetrack/brothel to spend their salaries.

The issue that baffles me is why so many small ( ie sub 5/10m shares decide to even bother to be quoted on an exchange. I would imagine the costs and compliance would be quite considerable , infact I know they are plus in LED's case the shares our Mr Li has aroung 28% with the BOD also sharing quite a few. So he does have plenty of funds himself.So I wonder sometimes whether it would be cheaper to raise capital in a different way. THe current shareholder base is surely not pushing the price up

I think I was lucky, got most of mine at 0.35 a few years back, already had my money back plus more! still hold well over 2mill, I really do think this a long way to go! looking at a 6p exit point, well we can all dream!

I still have a small holding less than 2% of my portfolio , a stupid idea methinks but I'll wait and see . It does no harm to me to be down a bit on these. But I lacked judgement here for sure . If anything investments in such firms should be more closer to home . I held Fortune for a while and had a similar problem. Luckily I got out slightly in the blue. Here though it was a spur of the moment punt ! Only one good deal could transform this but as of today this is true for any small firm .

Take a look at UVEL for a suddenly more active Chinese penny share. Perhaps it's going to do its leap above a penny soon, like LED back in May '09..
