15/9/2006 11:56 | thecynical1:- Thanks for your input - Have you any thoughts on what triggered the sells today as (volume and trades appear to be some 10x higher than normal. Hence my thought (probably wrong as a result of your reply), that a tipster had issued a sell note as I have seen similar patterns in the past. | pugugly
15/9/2006 11:26 | Pug...this share is mainly below the radar of such tipsters...there has been a note out recently recommending them as a buy...with a target price of something like 13p......have not heard of a sell rec...the fact that Resourceworks increased their holding is imo an indicator that there is not bad news on the way...actually most likely the opposite.... | thecynical1
15/9/2006 11:24 | Given the volume of selling - largely a large number of relativly small holding) anyone know if this was a Michael Walters, or RHPS, or similar BUY reommendation and a SELL note has now been issued??? OR just a reaction to the general fall off in all mineral and mineral exploration stocks? | pugugly
15/9/2006 10:25 | another pointer away from bad news....look at the RNS on 11.09.06....Schweco increased the holding which they have on behalf of Resourceworks.....lo | thecynical1
15/9/2006 10:23 | shinra...as far as I know there is not going to be drilling news for a while...as I understand it their plan is to drill somewhere up to 10000m between now and the beginning of next year....think it may just be a treeshake prior to other news or maybe some kind of preliminary drilling comment..if the news is "material" ( as in price sensitive ) then I think they are obliged to make an announcement...and my money is on the news being good. | thecynical1
15/9/2006 10:22 | morning Charles...if I was a gambling man I would say that the MMs are running the stops....and a couple of punters have seen the drop and joined in the selling.....doesn't make a whole lot of sense...WGDF is down around US$ 2 again so the holding over there is not worth as much as it was last week but this is a bit insane....about 50,000 pounds worth of stock get sold and the market cap gets crucified.........lo | thecynical1
15/9/2006 10:21 | Maybe expected bad news leak? can someone confirm? | shinra_rule
15/9/2006 09:32 | Hello, what is happening with this one today? Why all the selling | charles m
12/9/2006 19:39 | anybody else out there ? ....with ever more shares in the hands of holders who will presumably be longterm holders..this gets even more interesting....there cannot be a whole lot of free stock out there..... | thecynical1

05/9/2006 09:37 | any thoughts on GAS ? yep, still cheaper than electric, especially for cooking. DYOR etc etc | charles m
05/9/2006 09:27 | good. I reckon it is a long term punt....patience is a great thing !!!! ; ) I am going to sit on these for a while - I reckon that within the next 6 months there should be some serious news....drilling is planned up until the beginning of the first quarter of 2007 as I understand it.....in the meantime I expect that there will be a few updates.....any thoughts on GAS ? | thecynical1
05/9/2006 09:19 | tc1:Yes got your mail. I've run the tape over them (briefly, as very busy) looks positive. As I said, looks good enough for a small long term punt, which is very much my style at mom (scatter gun approach, win some lose some). S. | skjimey
04/9/2006 21:05 | hi jacko....if it for a long term punt.....this may not be a bad bet....the figures I put up a couple of posts back represent reasonably where these guys are at...the price of copper which I used was actually too low based on the prices at the moment....the only real downside which I see here is that it may be another couple of years before these guys start taking anything out of the ground....but if you are looking for a longer term punt....copper is one material which the world is almost certainly only going to want more of.....there is lots of info available ref expected demand from China & India for various metals....I like the expected increase in demand from China...and these guys have projects in a country which has just signed a trade agreement with China which will put exports from there to China in the "imports from a favoured trading partner" category.....have a word with the company - they are very good when it comes to enquiries..... | thecynical1
04/9/2006 20:11 | hi tc1 and skj> just added to my watch list. o/t whats the rumours at afd these days?. I have been in and out over the years. Was trying to find a good one for my maxi isa . | jackohelp

04/9/2006 16:06 | interesting reaction to what I would not describe as the most interesting RNS.... | thecynical1

01/9/2006 12:23 | looks like the MMs are playing the same game...couple of chunky ( relative to the normal size of trades !! ) sells and the result...they move the offer out !!!! ; ) | thecynical1
31/8/2006 21:51 | absolutely, they are flying below the radar that is the issue. sooner or later they will have to conclude a deal with a JV in order to really maximise their return from what look like highly positive drilling results i like the diversification making money from investing in companies in their own sector using cash reserves that would otherwise attract limited interest is a good move for me i think if we can all sit on our hands long enough we will be rewarded - patience is the game | rochdale
31/8/2006 08:25 | goml...thanks for that. I reckon that you put too much trust in the "sophistication" of the market : ) I read recently that China in 2020 is expected to require 6 - 8 times more copper than it does now.............the US may be the main economy on the planet but the growth in the demand for copper is not going to come from the US imo...it will come from countries which are developing their economies and improving their living standards.....every single dwelling unit be it and apartment or a house requires a hefty chunk of copper....this is without considering that every factory and hotel require quite a lot of copper...not to mention the fact that copper is used in most electronic products.... In addition Chile have just done a trade deal with China so exports from Chile to China should have "preferential status"......I may be completely off but I reckon that the market has not actually noticed LTR.....and if it has it has not looked into it in a particularly detailed manner..... | thecynical1 |
