RNS Number:7170Q Kiwara PLC 25 March 2008 25 March 2008 KIWARA PLC ISSUE OF SHARES Placing raises £710,000 to accelerate exploration programme Kiwara plc (the "Company"), the AIM-listed mineral resources company, has raised a total of £710,000 by way of a Placing to new and existing investors of 3,550,000 new ordinary shares of one pence each ("Ordinary Shares") at an issue price of 20p per Ordinary Share. The capital raised will provide the Company with additional funds to accelerate the exploration of its nickel/copper/cobalt/Uranium projects in Zambia. Application has been made for the admission of the new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 31 March 2008. Geiger Counter Limited subscribed for 2,500,000 Ordinary Shares as part of the above Placing and has notified the Company that it currently has an interest in 14,057,500 Ordinary Shares representing 8.76% of the issued share capital of the Company. The total number of Kiwara Ordinary 1p shares outstanding following this placing is 160,485,010.
