                                 Board Changes

The Board of Kiwara, the Zambian based mining exploration Company, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Mr. Chris Molefe as Non-Executive director of the
Company with immediate effect.

Mr. Molefe was formally Chief Executive of Royal Bafokeng Resources (Pty) Ltd
and is presently non-executive chairman of Merafe Resources Ltd and
non-executive director of Jubilee Platinum Plc both publicly listed companies.
Mr Molefe is also a director of Nishati - Marven Technology (Pty) Ltd, a company
based in Sandton, Johannesburg

The Company also announces the resignation of non-executive director Mr. Hennie
Blignault due to personal reasons. The Board would like to thank Hendrick
Blignault for his early contribution to the development of Kiwara's projects.

Colin Bird, Chairman of Kiwara, commented "We are delighted to announce the
appointment of Mr. Chris Molefe to the Board.  As we advance the development of
our exciting nickel/copper/cobalt/Uranium projects in Zambia, we welcome the
appointment of a Director with Chris' experience in the resource sector and his

In accordance with paragraph (g) of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules, the following
information in relation to Mr. Molefe, as a new appointee to the Board of
Kiwara, is disclosed below:

                               Merafe Resources Ltd (Listed on JSE LTD)

                               Nishati Marven Technology (Pty) Ltd

                               Jubilee Platinum Plc (Listed on AIM and JSE LTD)

                               Tjate Platinum Corporation (Pty) Ltd
