05/11/2012 14:07 | Delighted to be corrected! | boadicea
05/11/2012 13:07 | According to my records, Kirkland are the 5th highest grading producing mine in the world. | chipperfrd
05/11/2012 12:45 | Agree that one swallow doesn't make a Summer, but KGI has a habit of coming up with great grades and is credited with having (from memory) the world's 6th richest grades. A few more like this could even escalate it up that scale. Also, 10ft width, if reasonably typical, sounds ideal to me for very accessible stopes without the need to mine masses of useless rubble. I have high hopes of this company. I expect we shall see formal comment with a better qualified opinion before long. | boadicea
05/11/2012 09:48 | Boadicea At a cursory review the drill results look pretty good, but need to read in more detail. RT | roguetreader
05/11/2012 08:08 | "2.97 opt over 10ft." I make that about 280 gramme-metres, where 100 g-m is considered to be superlative. | boadicea
02/11/2012 23:57 | RT I am estimating a 126p EPS for CY2013 and 135p for 2014 at flat gold. So given the (strong) probability of the US$ declining post the election and a consequent strengthening of the gold price in relative turns over 2013. And given the higher PER multiples usually witnessed on N.American exchanges. I have every confidence that the probabilities are weighted in favour of a decent upside for KGI. Chip | chipperfrd
02/11/2012 17:53 | Thought I'd missed the boat when these went to £13 in 2011, so there has been some positives to the decimation of my PM stocks over the last 12 months in that I've been able to buy in at almost half the peak. 'IF' they look like hitting their projections of throwing off $200m cashflow by 2014 by hitting targets over the next year then £13 could be revisted / passed in the next twelve months. Here's hoping. RT | roguetreader
02/11/2012 16:16 | "so I have bought back in." You wont lose! | overline
02/11/2012 10:02 | I put it down to the recent financing needed to complete the JV buyout with Queenston. Either way, it looked to me to be an attractive price - so I have bought back in. Upside looks appealing over a 12-month+ basis. All the best Chip | chipperfrd
02/11/2012 10:01 | Hi Boad, Seem to remember KGI dipping everytime they issue more shares (never to the small investers though) | overline
02/11/2012 09:54 | Does anyone have a logical explanation of the recent dip? I was rather nervous in topping up (now have my full weighting of these) at 580p as I hadn't expected it to drop even as far as 600p. Feeling a bit more relaxed now and it still looks oversold to me. | boadicea
17/10/2012 16:42 | my view is that as long as management achieve their fy guidance, investors confidence should return back and stock catch up with the rest of the gold mining sector | maltatrader
17/10/2012 16:24 | Thanks MaltaTrader. So we need some better news than to-days to shift sentiment? | bobdouthwaite
17/10/2012 15:23 | it has been targeted by short sellers...........on | maltatrader
17/10/2012 15:21 | To-day's news of fund raising through a placing of debentures has not been well received by the market. The underwriters must think any past problems are now history, so why does the share price fall? Perhaps the increased debt puts back the date for any dividend, but are there other possible reasons? | bobdouthwaite
26/9/2012 09:22 | Boadicea I agree and have just bought in, I like the long term view especially talk of a dividend further down the line. RT | roguetreader
18/9/2012 17:14 | I have reasonable confidence that KGI will deliver in due course, given that its resource is among the world's richest and in a super-geostable location. Its minor setbacks are par for the course in gold mining. With gold appearing to be on an Autumn run up, now could be a good time to get in or add, imho - NAI. | boadicea
13/9/2012 11:33 | Looks like "it`ll be better next year...... again" | overline
13/9/2012 08:10 | KGI at 4.30pm | jimbowen30
13/9/2012 07:48 | Q1fy13 update out | maltatrader
13/9/2012 06:32 | any particular reason for share price being down in canada last night? | maltatrader
05/9/2012 08:16 | More of what we have come to expect - This is slow moving in UK and mm's don't want a lot on their book (or equally don't have any/much). Therefore not one to trade. Probably best to pick your price somewhere inside the spread and put in a limit order hoping it will be taken up when an mm finds a profitable match. Its main plus point (apart from its great intrinsic value) is that it can be put into an ISA. | boadicea
29/8/2012 09:20 | MT, canadian listing has sensible spread. | underperformer |
