Update on proposed Disposal and funding
The Board of KDD (the "Board") is pleased to announce that, further to the shareholder circular, dated 16 May 2012 (the "Circular"), and the announcements dated 16 May, 23 May, 4 July and 12 July 2012, relating to the proposed Disposal of Sky Towers to Cimbrorum, the Company notes that the AMC website (www.amc.gov.ua/amc/control/uk/publish/article) now confirms that approval for the Disposal was granted on Friday 3 August 2012.
On 1 August 2012, the Company received USD 0.9 million under the Cimbrorum Assignment Agreement, bringing the aggregate funds received to date by KDD Group to USD 5.0 million.
In accordance with the terms of the SPA, the balance of the Cash Consideration, being US$10.5 million, is expected to be received from Cimbrorum by 17 August 2012.
Further updates will be made in due course, as appropriate. Capitalised terms in this announcement will carry the same meanings as those ascribed to them in the Circular unless the context requires otherwise.
