                                Sale of Property


Jourdan has today announced that it has sold its 42,000 ft2 long leasehold
factory in Andover, previously the manufacturing site for John Corby Ltd
("Corby"), the Group's trouser press business, with a leaseback agreement for
five years, breakable by the purchaser on 12 months' notice, The Board announced
in September 2005 that the Corby assembly lines had been moved to the Group's
manufacturing facilities at Peterlee and that the Andover site would be placed
on the market.


The Company will receive £1.0 million cash consideration (less expenses) for the
property, which will be used to further reduce Group borrowings.  Corby will
continue to operate its sales and administration functions from the site for the
time being.
