I would be very surprised if this offer goes through but I guess it is up to each and every shareholder to vote on this.
I do think that the CEO and the FD should be forced out here in order to restore credibility.

What a a bargain - £1b in orders and £50m in the bank means that they are only paying £20m for enterprise value.

Not a holder but I do feel that this is a completely pathetic offer.
If I were a holder I would want something in the region of 175p minimum.
Poor management has left them in this very vulnerable position.

This share is surely crashing to below a £1 with just a few eager sellers and not one purchaser in sight (including the 29% shareholder).

interesting that scrip announcement - take up near to Cathexis' holding at 27%. if the take up was all theirs that would take their holding to 30.18% and they have effectively paid 220p! if only

Effectively Cathexis has ruled itself out as a fresh purchaser of shares which will cause the shares to drift down towards a £1 and below. Clearly, they must like something in this mess and can then make their £1.70 bid for the outstanding shares look attractive.

they appear to be primarily a venture capitalist, but they had an 8% stake here prior to the recent placing. i guess if they go over 30% they are obliged to bid but only at the highest level they have paid in the last 12 months, which would be 170p unless they have been buying at higher levels.

the Cathexis holding is interesting as any more IMO and they will either have to get dispensation or bid will they not so they are technically at their limit? Can't find out much about them from googling, but presume this is a good sign? thoughts?

I had it in my diary for 12pm today as last year but was surprised when I was advised an hour ago that this year's is at 10am. I now understand the comment above regarding the early time. I would assume that Cathexis will be suggesting some changes to the board!
