04/3/2010 07:54 | Sounds excellent pre, will be watching closely. DC | daicaprice
01/3/2010 01:10 | To be fair,if that is right, then the reason why IQH shares are trading at a premium to the current price of the RSH shares - that are to be distributed to IQ shareholders assuming the deal goes through - might be that a certain person who cannot currently buy RSH shares is buying IQH shares instead. So if you don't want RSH shares, now might be a short-term opportunity to sell your IQH shares - if you can get 0.12 p for them. [as I've said,I do like RSH shares] | shakyhands
01/3/2010 00:28 | Its work out like this 0.5/12.84=0.039 share of RSH for each share of IQH share and the value will be 0.039x0.29 =0.0113p-----it is not bad compare to IQH value per share and works out as 10%-----say if you have £2000 worh of shares in IQH then you will get £200 worth of RSH shares which is 690. I hope my calculation is correct. | cindaraa
28/2/2010 21:57 | There is no thread because they are traded on Plus, would be my guess. From what I can determine, there are around 1.284 billion IQ holdings shares around. It seems that the IQH shareholders will get 5 million shares in Rivington Sreet Holdings if the deal goes through - that's 5 million shares for the whole company, not per share - less a certain number to be held in IQH. If you price IQH at 0.12pence,that values RSH at roughly 29 pence per share. When I looked on plus they were trading at around 25 pence. I own shares in RSH [not IQH]. I have no plans to sell them. Please don't just accept my figures - do your own research. | shakyhands

19/1/2010 07:33 | PLUS-quoted financial services group Rivington Street Holdings (RIVP) - the owner of UK-Analyst.com - announced results for the year to 31st August 2009, which showed that underlying EBITDA fell to 0.82 million pounds, down from 1.1 million pounds a year earlier. However, revenues increased from 3.8 million pounds to 4.1 million pounds and despite heavy spend on capex, acquisitions and share buybacks net cash rose and net cash and listed securities totalled 1.5 million pounds at the year end.. During the period the company completed the acquisitions of Oilbarrel.com and stockbroker JP Jenkins, as well as a reverse takeover of Commodity Watch. It also launched an AIM brokerage service and floated PLUS investment vehicle Worship Street Investments. In the first four months of the current year, underlying EBITDA rose by 78% to 0.32 million pounds. It also launched two new funds, bringing the total amount of assets under management to 18.6 million pounds (up from just 11.2 million pounds 4 months ago). The firm said that, following the acquisition of the subsidiaries of IQ Holdings on Christmas Eve, it intends to focus on cutting costs and ramping up sales in those businesses and that it is already making good progress on both fronts. Directors view the coming year with "real confidence." Shares in the company jumped by 3p to 30.5p. | sagem
