Invisa Appoints Zeag (UK) Ltd. as Distributor in Great Britain
SARASOTA, Fla., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Invisa, Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: INSA), an electronic life safety and security company that
commercializes patented presence-sensing technologies, announced today that
Zeag (UK) Ltd. has been appointed UK distributor for SmartGate(R) safety
sensors. Zeag plans to offer SmartGate as a pre-installed option for Zeag
parking barrier gates as well as an after-market offering for other brands of
parking barrier gates. Initial deliveries commenced in December 2004, with
additional sales expected in 2005.
The SmartGate safety sensor is the only non-contact sensor available that
travels with and precedes a closing gate arm, sensing conductive objects in its
path before making contact. Zeag plans to offer the sensor as a factory-
installed option to dealers and end-users throughout the UK.
David Jones, Managing Director of Zeag UK, stated that "SmartGate safety
sensors fill an important void in safety sensing for parking barrier gates and
have broader usefulness than any safety sensor we have offered to date. We look
forward to building a strong distributor relationship with Invisa."
