04/9/2009 11:31 | would seem to be two scenarios 1 they are v close to selling all or parts of the company....since this is material they have decided not to produce accounts, the accounts and announcement will follow when the sale has been finalised 2 they are bust...no one wants whatever assets they have and we're all screwed | philwill
04/9/2009 11:27 | Ta, have to keep an eye on this one, have had these for a while and look in from time to time, only today realised they were suspended, have read a few of the previous posts but is there a link to exactly what is going on other than the one that was posted yesterday. | little devil
04/9/2009 11:24 | NO, absolutely not. Perhaps they may however release some news at Sept. end I wouldn't bank on it though. | percy the pig
04/9/2009 10:32 | is the one month suspension accurate as a time scale ? TIA Ld | little devil
03/9/2009 19:55 | Thanks for the info, so we will just have to wait and see. | mary9740
03/9/2009 14:19 | Hi everyone, just nicked this from the LSE board, lets hope all ends well. Bengee | bengee
03/9/2009 14:02 | 8P was rumoured (not by me) leaving the company with cash and products. | grahambr
03/9/2009 13:19 | jotoha2 They did not say that, they said that what they could raise would be small compared to the current market Cap, that was when share price was 13p. 13p was based on a takeover. I still don't rule that out, but at a lower price. | hyper al
03/9/2009 13:16 | Hyper , thought the company stated recently that any sale of assets was not going to help very much?? | jotoha2
03/9/2009 13:14 | Just had a quick look and cash must be a serious problem here , hence all panic activity, also looks to me that there has been some fun and games with recent buying /selling , possibly insiders getting out or more astute insiders coming in , looks very confusing in terms of recent trades...time will tell for sure what is happening here. | jotoha2
03/9/2009 13:03 | They will need some cash, so they are cutting overheads by reducing staff levels. They are selling parts of the business and hence the delay and suspension. | hyper al
03/9/2009 13:00 | Its temporarily suspended awaiting news of final accounts , and possibly some other corporate action , sometimes the incompetant Directors issue one of these and then go on to say they are in trouble and will call in the administrators , not to sure if this lot have issued a profits warning recently as have only been watching this one , but was ready to buy in after some research ...wish you well if you are invested here! | jotoha2
03/9/2009 10:27 | what does suspension mean i know they arnt trading but has the money gone down the pan or what this was just a small punt but never happend to me before. do you just sit and wait | mary9740
03/9/2009 10:19 | Well .. while you're waiting for the result of the suspension (like me), you could do worse than take a serious look at GKP, due for a TO at a multiple of current share price As always.. please dyor. | 2trikky
02/9/2009 20:31 | ta - good luck with your target - need at least something like that amount to have a decent retirement fund i guess | incorrigible
02/9/2009 20:29 | double post | hyper al
02/9/2009 20:29 | incorrigible Well no, but I put all my money into PRM when I opened my SIPP and lost it all, well down to about £2k. I have since bounced back, but my attitude to my SIPP is that it is dead. As a result I take far bigger risks with funds in this account and it is these risks that have helped me bounce back. I will continue this way and if I hit £1.5million I will stop investing. | hyper al
02/9/2009 20:12 | Incorrigible .... answer is no. | imabastard
02/9/2009 19:59 | Hyper - in an ealier post you said your holding was in a SIPP, and you appeared to be more relaxed about the situation just because it was in a SIPP. Just a general question really - are SIPP holdings better protected in case of a company going into administration? | incorrigible
02/9/2009 18:01 | 8trade Very true, but it is still temporary. I've waited 9 months before, I'm sure this one won't be that long. I think we will come back a new company, with cash and maybe one or two good stem cell lines still remaining. | hyper al
02/9/2009 14:46 | Maybe all the buying last week, was people taking positions before suspension, then sale. No one can get in now even if the sale price is higher then the current share price Just a throught! | richie111
02/9/2009 14:21 | Hyper. There's so many aim stocks that have been "temporary" suspended that still remain suspended after many months, some close to a year ! | 8trade
02/9/2009 13:45 | presumably results published as suspension lifted.............. | thepinkpanther
02/9/2009 10:39 | So any ideas on when icx resumes normal trading, it will be any different from the current price? For once i can predict a outcome of end of days trading for icx and i reckon it will be 4.125... ;) lee | leaderzzz |
