InTechnology will continue to provide product development, service delivery and support via its extensive UK network and data centre infrastructure while Compaq will market and sell the VBAK service to end user customers and through channel partners, as part of their expanding customer service portfolio. "VBAK has come at a perfect time for today's market," said Rene Schuster, Compaq UK Chief Executive. "Never before has it been so critical to store and manage data effectively. "I believe that VBAK has the potential to become an industry standard and through this partnership we will be able to accelerate its commercialisation."
