RNS Number:1472P Innovision Research&Technology PLC 29 August 2003 Innovision Research & Technology plc 2003 AGM Statement At the Annual General Meeting of Innovision Research & Technology plc at 4.30 pm on 28 August 2003, Barton Clarke CBE, Chairman, made the following comments: "Further to my statement in the annual report in June, I am pleased to announce continued progress within the business. On the commercial front, we have seen excellent advances on the two significant contracts announced earlier this year: *Phase one of the consumer goods project, originally announced in February 2003, has been successfully completed and we have this week commenced the next major phase of work on this important project. *Work for our European Telecommunications customer continues apace with a number of technical challenges recently overcome, and requests for additional work now being incorporated. Within the medical sector, we have now started full development on a key project for a major European customer and are undertaking further feasibility studies for, amongst others, a major US medical devices company. These recent successes confirm our belief in the medical sector as one to which Innovision Research & Technology's unique mix of skills are particularly suited. On other projects, engineering work remains on target, generating solid revenue growth, and we continue to build a strong funnel of sales leads to maintain the momentum achieved in the last nine months. The progress made reflects the hard work and commitment of the whole team. For personal reasons, and following the successful reduction in our toy focus Andrew White, our Director of Innovation, will now move to a part-time role within the Company. He will remain an Executive Director and will continue to concentrate on ensuring that the innovation and creativity on which the company thrives is reinforced across the business. Overall I am pleased with current progress and although challenges remain, the recent successes serve to reinforce our confidence in the long-term potential of our business.
