                         Chairman's AGM Statement 2002

At the Annual General Meeting of Innovision Research & Technology plc at 5 pm
today, Barton Clarke CBE, Chairman, made the following comments:

"Further to my statement in the annual report, I am pleased to take this
opportunity to give a further update on the Company's progress.

Following the significant contract win with a client in the telecommunications
arena announced earlier this month, Datalabel, our Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) business has just signed its first full exploitation
license.  This license represents the conversion of the Company's teaming
agreement with a major US logistics supply company, and offers the opportunity
of significant long term royalties once the technology is integrated into the
licensee's new product range, and final customers have committed to production.

Good progress continues to be made in the area of contactless transport
ticketing. Additionally, a number of key milestones have been met over recent
months on the other major RFID development programmes currently underway.

New business enquiries continue at high levels across all areas of the company,
including our toy business where the prospects for 2003 have the potential to
generate significant new revenues.

The excellent team we now have in place is focused on delivering the revenue
opportunities available in both the RFID and consumer markets. The recent
commercial progress further reinforces my confidence in the long-term prospects
for the Company."
