    Confirmation of winding-up and suspension of trading of Ingenious Music VCT plc's shares

    Ingenious Music VCT plc (the "Company") announces that the shareholders have resolved at a general meeting held today to pass all the
proposed resolutions put forward to them in relation to approving that the Company be placed into a members' voluntary winding-up, to
appoint Stephen Ryman and Robert Smailes of Shipleys LLP as joint liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up and to approve the
suspension of the Company's 15,093,286 ordinary shares (the "Shares") from trading on the Official List. 

    An application will be made to the UK Listing Authority requesting the cancellation of the listing of the Shares on the Official List as
well as the trading of the Shares on the London Stock Exchange. Cancellation of the Shares is expected to take place at 8.00 a.m. on 25
September 2008.
