As for solar:
47% drop in share price & $19billion MC loss of the world's largest chinese solar company Hanergy does not inspire confidence in their 'revolutionary' technology. Where is the CEO?

The daily mail doesn't help sentiment on this with their unscientific articles.
As for the dividend & outstanding debt:
Why don't they just issue a scrip & either payoff the debt or invest in new assets?

I assume this share is a scam, for the benefit of the City Boys.

It is Eco, and displays all the trates.

SCAMm.

Even if investors get the divi do you think the share price will hold up ex div?

With landfill gas dwindling and the wind sector to be hammered by Conservatives "emotional hatred" of onshore wind why would you hold?

I was looking forward to reading the details on Infinis. However this cash cow came groaning onto the scene overburdened by debt and with a tacked on wind vision to show why investors should overpay and get Hands out of an EMI nightmare.

Until Infinis have sold out, the debt is brought to a level that could survive a rate shock and a more robust future is mapped out I'm still prevented from investing.

I was thinking that future may lie in solar rather than wind as that tech' has the greater potential for advances in pence per kwh but will wait and see.

If they backtrack on the divi then they have zero credibility but they clearly stated their intention to pay it when they last reported.
I have been in since IPO so clearly not at all happy but if the divi is sustainable then the share price will have to re-rate dramatically, there are no FTSE 250 stocks that have a covered divi of 9.5%

The results are out May 28th.....so we don't have long to see what the score is.

Here is hoping that they follow through with the much-promised juicy dividend.

Another point - most websites are not showing the dividend on offer here properly. Once the yield becomes more generally known, there may be a charge up to the dividend in July, unless the results are poor.

I would guess Terra Firma's course of action was waiting on the General Election result, which was potentially unfavorable. Should see some movement from them - surely they had plans of action whatever the result was.

You need to see the bit in the middle! Yesterday ramped from 181 to 192 then all the way back to 180 before close at 185

These MM's like to hedge their bets don't they ???. Offer at 186.1 and Bid at 181 ???. They would need to move up 3% just to break even.

There also seems to be some strange opening prices compared to the closing price on the previous session. Yesterday closed at 185 and opened this morning at 179.7.....

Salpara - they haven't even *started* disposing of their stake ...

And Guy Hands' crit of Tory green policies smacks of desperation to me.

There is nothing much that can be done here until Terra Firma have finished disposing of their stake.
MMs keeping the spread good and wide, share price fluctuates wildly during the day.
I hold from much higher but am not concerned given that nothing has changed in the underlying business so I fully expect it to recover back to the mid 200s as that would equate to a yield of around 6%

I wonder if it could finish up like Brit Insurance, part floated and then bought off market within a year. In that case the dividend was rolled up in the final offer price. Same could happen here but would struggle to match float price IMO whereas Brit was well above.

Terra Firma are not keen on a Tory victory with regard to renewables policy...

Clearly a very disappointing float, I suspect that Terra Firma are going to get the cold shoulder the next time they try to float one of their businesses.
Having said that it is clear that the share price is being seriously depressed by the seemingly never ending process of Terra Firma selling down their stake, the shares currently yield 10% and nothing has happened to the business to put that yield at risk so one can only reasonably assume that there will be a gradual re-rating once this sale process is over.
I did think that this process would have taken a couple of months but it is clearly still ongoing given the daily holding position RNS statements.
One would like to think that they will finish up in the next few weeks as it is now over 3 months since they started but who knows! the only thing you can say with any certainty is that the sale process will end at some point and then the share price will re-rate.
