06/7/2007 09:32 | and what do you guys think to UTVM? They've been established for some time too.. - Thinking about getting involved.. It floated a couple of days ago and is at a slight preium to its float price.. All thoughts welcomed.. D | dennisbergkamp
05/7/2007 16:36 | nav100 Eros has been a well established name in Bollywood for decades. Bit premature to compare IFC with Eros at this stage but this has promise. | ayesha4
05/7/2007 16:24 | dennisbergkamp now you know the potential of ifc, eros are a publisher but ifc are a allrounder. buys scripts, invest in movies and also publish. after the first set of results this is flying. | nav1000
05/7/2007 16:02 | OMG! Eros.. ok, I feel like a chump.. Been looking at this from £2.20 and watching and watching and... Such a no brainer too!!.. Damn D. | dennisbergkamp

29/6/2007 15:43 | Sat69-one Maestro-nil. Can we have an end to the ongoing ramping now and focus on what they will do with the cash. Truth is Eros was already a company in full swing when it floated. This classifies as a mere start up. Gonna tread water for a while. | topgunns
29/6/2007 14:17 | Cheers Maestro - I'm still watching though! Will let you know when I buy sat | sat69

21/6/2007 10:11 | Dennis. Any good recommendations for Berlin property funds (that haven't flown too much yet!)? I've been thinking of putting a bit of money that way for a while. | spiv 1
20/6/2007 19:46 | Cheers Dennis - Another down day for the stock I note. | sat69
20/6/2007 19:20 | These look good.. But I think waiting is a good idea.. As Sat said.. plenty trade below NAV initially whilst we don't know how they will perform. A lot will be based on the July film launch.. I've been buying berlin property but before I jumped on, I looked at the funds that were setup and they traded below NAV by up to some 6% before any news on how they had invested was unclear.. Now they are flying.. waiting... D. | dennisbergkamp
19/6/2007 21:06 | Gucci - Pls see if you can find my 'TIPS' thread or 'CHAT' thread. | sat69
19/6/2007 20:19 | thx sat take a look at MST bought in today, instead of IFC glad I did too think they're heading for 50p | gucci
19/6/2007 19:51 | Don't get me wrong Maestro yaar - I share your view that this will rocket. I will even make a bold statement that we will be standing at over 150p by the year end. I'm just saying that if you hang on, you will be able to get in below £1 - that's all! | sat69
19/6/2007 19:41 | Can anyone tell me whats the difference between Eros ands IFC. Apart from the huge difference in mkt cap. IFC looks a steal at these prices, I can see alot of asian posters interested here. cheers | nav1000
19/6/2007 19:11 | okay i should have asked you to name a stock trading under the BROADCASTING & ENTERTAINMENT sector trading under the NAV. When eros floated mkt cap 175m and raised... i think £25m. Current revenue is around £23m a year, how has eros got that value of 400m. Trust me in a year IFC will be around £2 - £3 a share. western investor are a bit slow in getting to this one, they'll be here. They are not familiar with Bollywood etc. | maestro4
19/6/2007 18:59 | Eros International makes IFC look a bargain. Either Eros is overvalued or its not. If its the latter IFC is a bargain at current price. IFC expect to have revenue around £13 to £17m for the year, that is not bad for a startup company. Eros did well with the Omkara, i watched it and it was not bad. Whats to say IFC first movie Halla Bol won't be a success, Devgan starred in both movies, with positive vibes coming from india it looks a decent movie(halla bol). | maestro4
19/6/2007 18:44 | Maestro, I don't have the time to research every company, but as requested, here are a few that are currently trading below NAV:- In alphabetical order: - 1. Art Alpha 2. Axa Property 3. Candover (currently around 35% below NAV) 4. City Merch ....and I'm only on the letter C. You'll need deep pockets to be buying them all yaar! Gucci - Keep them on your monitor - I'll tell you when to get in! sat | sat69 |
