25/2/2008 19:51 | PossFund Nominees Ltd 1,923,074 5.64 That matches up with the sale today, will be interesting to see who has picked it up. | hastings
25/2/2008 13:41 | Its 10% of the share capital/company. Think something should be released certainly above notifiable level imo. | veryniceperson
25/2/2008 13:21 | Somebody will have picked them up, as you can't dump that amount on the market, not with IMD's market size anyway. I guess if somebody is prepared to take them on its not all bad. Look out for an RNS on Institutional buying or selling, unless its someone below the notifiable level. | hastings
25/2/2008 13:06 | Not sure it is offloading, price has not dropped a lot for amount sold. | veryniceperson
25/2/2008 13:01 | It looks like somebody is keen to offload as appears to have been the case since the positive update. We know that 2007 results due out next week will be better than previous expectations, but there must be some uncertainty now as to what the picture will be going forward. | hastings
25/2/2008 12:14 | Somebody is moving a lot around today, hasn't moved the price much. | veryniceperson
25/2/2008 08:06 | Down another 0.5 this morning 6 trading days to the results. I do hope we don't get a nasty surprises, been known to be a bit leaky with bad news. Lets hope not! | veryniceperson
20/2/2008 20:09 | One wonders and also why some have been keen to offload in a few chunks. | hastings
20/2/2008 16:40 | Hope the results are good in a fortnight, slipped back 13 points since November, time of the trading statement. Will these ever get back past the 50p mark? | veryniceperson
15/2/2008 12:33 | Thanks for that WJ, a decent summing up of the situation. Patience the order of the day. | hastings
15/2/2008 11:26 | Back of the envelope - if the trends from the trading update and H1 continue then sales should be 7mm with op profit around 1.1mm, PBT around 950k and EPS of 2.3-2.4p though that depends on what they've been investing in the German expansion. The house broker may be reluctant to forecast because of the short-term visibility - I think that's also why the market ignores them. However if you can get your mind round s-t volatility I view the trend as being strongly positive with the new CEO really getting to grips with the business over the last 18 months. The optimad aquisition was a great move as was the expansion into TV and Germany is looking positive too. Radio advertising is unlikely to do anything other than gradually decrease but that contribution will soon be less than 25% of revenues and Optimad will give them a degree of recurring revenue. I suspect there are stale holders which is why the share price drifts but at some point IMD is going to turn into a cashflow machine and will be odds on for an MBO IMHO. | wjccghcc
15/2/2008 10:36 | Fair enough WJCCGHCC, it will be interesting to see what the results come out at. Any idea why there hasn't been an upgrade from the House Broker, or have i just missed it and do you have an estimate of your own for EPS, given the last strong update. | hastings
14/2/2008 16:42 | That's the 3mm financing to buy Optimad. They paid down 1.75mm of that in H1 leaving current liabilities of 2.5mm at the interims. Not a concern IMHO given their strong cash generation. | wjccghcc
14/2/2008 16:23 | Current liabilities rose from £0.58Mln in 2005 to £4Mln in 2006 while Net Assets fell from £3.14Mln to £2.79Mln in the same period. | hastings
14/2/2008 10:43 | Not sure what you mean re the liabilities. Apart from the debt to buy Optimad, I don't see much of a change? | wjccghcc
13/2/2008 20:27 | Still holding here, but feeling somewhat uneasy. The last statement, coupled with Director purchases should have seen the shares move forward, Indeed they did,for a fleeting moment but quickly fell back and have since been weak. I expected to find a positive note from the House Broker after the last news, but there doesn't appear to be much happening. It will be interesting to see the state of the balance sheet and at what level the cash / liabilities stand, given the sharp rise in the latter. | hastings
28/1/2008 01:32 | games, Have I met you? Do you come from Newcastle? Tony | opmoc
28/1/2008 01:20 | Legato page on imd site, hopefully Martin Pavey will have a positive effect. | games
23/1/2008 14:06 | So on the 4th March all will be revealed. | veryniceperson
13/1/2008 10:34 | It may make a difference to the share price tomorrow, but made no impact Friday. But the real proof will be early March when the results are issued. | veryniceperson
28/12/2007 12:43 | If there is an economic slowdown next year, traders may need to advertise more? But moving into european markets should compensate for any short fall. The TV network only been operational for 18 months we haven't seen the full benefits yet but seems the directors have, maybe! | veryniceperson
28/12/2007 12:33 | Yup. I've added quite a few at 39p over the last few weeks - now my 2nd biggest holding. A big economic slowdown next year might hit radio advertising (although it's already at a low base) but IMD's diversification into Optimad, TV, Ireland and Germany should offset any significant impact IMHO. The acquisition of Optimad in particular looks like being a very smart move, giving them a recurring revenue base and making them a one-stop shop for the industry. Also, I like the way they're positioning themselves as a clearing house for online advertising and IPTV. Add in decent cashflow and a reasonable yield and I'm happy to add, I think there's a stock overhang holding down the SP, probably left over from the move to AIM or the fact that their mkt cap is less than 20mm. Either way, it's a good opportunity to build a sizeable stake. The directors clearly agree :-) | wjccghcc
