Issue of equity

The Company announces that, following an exercise of subscription shares, it has issued 1 ordinary share in the Company for cash at a price of 100p^ per share.

Following the issue of this share, the Company's share capital consists of 214,990,198 ordinary shares of 1p each, carrying one voting right each and 39,000,393 subscription shares of 0.1p each, carrying no voting rights. The Company holds no shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights for ordinary shareholders is 214,990,198. For shareholders holding both ordinary shares and subscription shares, the total number of voting rights is 253,990,591.*

The above figures may be used by shareholders as denominators for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

^ Subscription shareholders have the right, on any business day up to and including 31 October 2014, to subscribe for all or any of the ordinary shares to which their subscription shares relate at a price of 100 pence per ordinary share.

* The subscription shares are considered to be qualifying financial instruments under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
