RNS Number:7164W Imagesound PLC 17 May 2007 17 May 2007 Imagesound plc AGM Trading Statement Imagesound plc (AIM: ISD.L), the UK's leading listed supplier of in-store music, radio and TV services to the branded retail and leisure sectors, is holding its Annual General Meeting today at 11.00 a.m. at Venture Way, Dunston Technology Park, Chesterfield. Chairman, Derek Mapp, will make the following statement about current trading: "I am pleased to report that trading during the first four months of the year has been in line with management expectations. "We have continued to make good progress within our core business. Trading highlights include the successful roll-out of a new satellite platform across the 180-store Wickes estate, as an upgrade to the three year contract renewed last year. We have renewed our contract with Superdrug, a major Imagesound client, which involves the roll-out of a new audio platform across the existing 740 stores supplied, as well as to an additional 200 stores which are being converted to Superdrug outlets from Savers. We have also won a new contract with Bon Marche, providing in-store radio to 350 stores across the UK. In addition to progress in the UK, we are continuing to build our international distribution network, and have signed distribution agreements with partners in Portugal, Dubai and Greece in the year to date. These partners were attracted to our advanced client profiling software, management system and players. This new channel has added 66 new international subscribers so far. "We are making progress in the lucrative young persons bar sector, through the introduction of interactive audiovisual players, which we distribute under license in the UK, alongside our proprietary DJ interface. We have now completed the first major roll out to the 70-strong Slug & Lettuce chain. "MusicStyling, the leading provider of bespoke music content to the luxury hotel, spa and resort industry worldwide, acquired by the Company in May 2006, has continued to perform well, and ahead of last year. New wins include the Four Seasons and Radisson chains, and further roll outs across the Marriott estate, where we now supply around 200 Marriott hotels. Building on the international strength of MusicStyling, we are in the process of opening a new office in Vancouver, to cover the important American hotel market. "We have entered 2007 in good shape, and are confident that we can continue to make progress in the coming year." -Ends- For further information: Imagesound plc Derek Mapp, Executive Chairman Tel: 01246 572 990 Hogarth Partnership James Longfield/Georgina Briscoe/Sarah Richardson Tel: 020 7357 9477 Notes to Editors Imagesound is the UK's leading listed supplier of in-store music, radio and TV services.
