The board of Horizon Technology Group plc ("Horizon" or the "Company"), a
leading technical integrator and distributor of information technology products
in the UK and Ireland, has received an approach which may or may not lead to an
offer to acquire the entire issued share capital of the Company at a price of
Euro1.18 per ordinary share ("The Possible Offer").



Shareholders should note however, that the approach is preliminary in nature and
is subject to a number of conditions. Accordingly, no assurances can be given
that a formal offer will be forthcoming or that any transaction will occur.



The holder of 1% or more of any relevant securities in the Company may from the
date of this announcement have disclosure obligations under Rule 8.3 of the
Irish Takeover Panel Act, 1997, Takeover Rules 2001 to 2005, as applied, with
amendments by the European Communities (Takeover Bids (Directive 2004/25/EC))
Regulations 2006.
