HACAS GROUP PLC



                                SHARE PLACING



HACAS announces that it has issued 77,500 new Ordinary Shares at a price of
85.5p per share.  The total gross proceeds to the Company are #66,262.50 which
will be used for working capital for the Group.



These new shares will rank pari passu with all other shares currently in
issue.  Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to AIM and
this is expected to occur on 5 April 2001. After admission, the enlarged
number of shares in issue will be 28,300,956.
