Salomon Brothers Global Partners Income Fund Inc. Announces Results of Annual
Meeting of Shareholders 


NEW YORK, Dec. 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Salomon Brothers Global Partners
Income Fund Inc., which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the
symbol "GDF," announced today the results of the votes cast at the Fund's annual
meeting of shareholders held on December 11, 2003.

   * Daniel Cronin was elected as a Class I Director of Salomon Brothers
     Global Partners Income Fund Inc. to hold office until the annual
     meeting of stockholders in the year 2004 or thereafter when a
     respective successor is duly elected and qualified.
   * Carol L. Colman was elected as a Class II Director of Salomon Brothers
     Global Partners Income Fund Inc. to hold office until the annual
     meeting of stockholders in the year 2005 or thereafter when a
     respective successor is duly elected and qualified.
   * William R. Hutchinson, Jeswald W. Salacuse, and R. Jay Gerken were
     elected as Class III Directors of Salomon Brothers Global Partners
     Income Fund Inc. to hold office until the annual meeting of
     stockholders in the year 2006 or thereafter when respective successors
     are duly elected and qualified.
