13/5/2007 22:25 | i think that if disaster was in the air then the share price would've slipped. corrientes, hopefully you will be be congratulating yourself for being a genius share trader by the end of the month! | rambutan2
13/5/2007 21:56 | Agreed. Why did I sell KGI (despite large profit last year) and buy this. Again Corriente, repeat after me,'LET THE WINNERS RUN'. | corrientes
13/5/2007 19:47 | Doesn't look like anyone's too excited about the latest results. At the start of April they said scoping study out early Q2. I think we're past early Q2 and into mid Q2 now... Lets hope it arrives soon to kick the share price above 420. | serpicouk
04/5/2007 16:53 | May 2007 presentation on GSL website: Looks a lot like their last presentation although I've not looked at it in detail yet. Anyone know if anything of interest was mentioned at the AGM? | serpicouk
04/5/2007 16:40 | well, they've got to say something at the agm. let's see where tsx ends the day. | rambutan2
04/5/2007 11:52 | Rambutan2 Thanks for the link above. There are 1 or 2 more companies there that I will listen too as well. Flagon | flagon

18/4/2007 09:45 | from end of feb, gsl webcast/presentation | rambutan2
16/4/2007 23:01 | SP seems inversely correlated to the PoG at the moment. Gold shoots up $50/oz since march...GSL drifts down. Clearly no one is that excited about our gold...need a good scoping study to show that it won't always be stuck in the ground. Only around the corner? | serpicouk
04/4/2007 00:21 | so - who has got a handle on the life of mine cash flows, cap and op costs then? profit and share price. Come on - out with it ... | tinpotdik
03/4/2007 08:20 | I for one am happy with the newsflow that they provide , they can't just make stuff up. | bionicdog
03/4/2007 08:07 | Shares keep drifting - they to get some news out soon IMHO | daviddunne82
02/4/2007 20:17 | Taken from the risk statement of their results and repeated by AFXF. The Company has incurred losses since its inception and will not achieve profitability until...[its project]...is a profitable operation. Classic. Just got to wait for early Q2 now...whenever that starts... | serpicouk
30/3/2007 18:59 | That article was written (Jan 4th) before the below news. (CCN) Mon Jan 15, 2007 Greystar Announces Positive Bio-Oxidation Results ..."Our on-going metallurgical program for the Angostura gold-silver project continues to yield encouraging results," said David Rovig, CEO of Greystar. "Test results suggest that we will be able to treat the oxide and transitional material by low-cost, heap leach cyanidation, while promising options are emerging for obtaining equally high gold recoveries from the sulfide portion of the deposit."... | serpicouk
30/3/2007 08:18 | Some caution though. The metallurgy may be their problem .... | wassapper
30/3/2007 08:03 | I remember the good old days when it started on April 1st. | bionicdog
30/3/2007 00:24 | second quarter doesn't start until after the easter break ie mon 16 april (at earliest), and then should prob add on a week to for everyone to sort out their desks etc. so, would expect the scoping study news to be in may. imho | rambutan2
29/3/2007 20:52 | The lack of any movement (or trades of note) would suggest the market doesn't think so :) | serpicouk
29/3/2007 18:10 | Early part of the second quarter of 2007 , that's next week then. | bionicdog
29/3/2007 14:38 | is never a prob drilling up more resources. on the scoping study front it looks to me like they wanting to come out with a "big bang" result, perhaps in order to make the mkt/bidders sit up and take notice? imho that makes sense and should be worth the wait... Greystar Drills 41.8 g/t Gold Over 6 Metres at Angostura VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthe (TSX:GSL)(AIM:GSL) is pleased to report that the latest drill results continue to enhance the potential economics of its wholly owned, multi-million ounce Angostura gold-silver resource in northeastern Colombia. "The results from Los Laches-La Alta Este area in particular have significant economic implications by indicating the prospects for improving the projected high wall section to the east of the envisioned main pit in La Alta, as well as enhancing the stability of the proposed pit walls," says Greystar's Executive Vice President, Frederick Felder, P.Geo. "Plus the results from the Veta de Barro and Veta de Barro East areas are continuing to confirm the width and grade of the bulk structures in those sections of the resource." Scoping Study Greystar also reports that the Angostura scoping study being completed by consulting firm Hatch is progressing with the Resource and Mine scheduling now well advanced. Following a very comprehensive metallurgical test program in 2006 (press release January 15, 2007), Greystar has developed a metallurgical model that allows for the development of a comprehensive life of mine plan. The details of the metallurgical model for the sulfides were completed by Greystar and its metallurgical consultants in early January. Unlike many gold deposits with an oxide component that lay out a staged mine plan, Greystar's approach is that the deposit should be evaluated for its life of mine potential since it has such a large resource base. Hatch is preparing a capital cost estimate for the project, which takes into account both the oxide and sulfide components of the operation. The complexity of the study, as well as the limitations of resources by engineering and other consulting firms has resulted in a delay in completing the scoping study, which is now expected in the early part of the second quarter of 2007. . | rambutan2
26/3/2007 22:58 | manyana! what's the rush? | rambutan2
26/3/2007 22:41 | Anyone know the timescale for the feasibility study? | serpicouk
22/3/2007 02:03 | for the record, i noticed that merrill lynch gold and general fund purchased a 450k stake between 01/07/06 and 31/12/06 at a cost of £2.167m. | rambutan2
09/3/2007 10:04 | Greystar gets a mention on minesite. Geographically, the general sentiment seemed to be a shift to politically safe North America and Mexico. A notable exception was Colombia where Greystar Resources and a new start up aptly called Colombia Mines made the case that the reward is worth the risk in the emerging country. Greystar is expected to have a scoping study out on its multi-million ounce Angostura deposit in the next few weeks, while Colombia Mines hopes to list on the Toronto Venture Exchange within the next few months. link - Good luck, Flagon | flagon |
