Trading Update
Green China Holdings Limited (AIM: GCH), a fertilizer franchise operator and leading provider of fertilizer products in Hunan Province, China, is pleased to report that its trading performance for the year ended 31 December 2012 will be in line with management expectations.
As expected, trading in the first quarter of 2013 has been slow due to the cyclical impact of Chinese New Year and also the impact of the appointment of a new government but new franchise store openings are beginning to gain momentum and we hope to update shareholders in more detail at the time of the Group's Preliminary Results. The Group ended 2012 with 767 franchise stores up from 584 the previous year. As stated in the Group's admission document on 12 December 2012, we expect rapid growth in the number of franchise stores in 2013.
The Group plans to issue its Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2012 in June 2013.
