UPDATE ON THE MERGER OF GREAT PLACES AND MSV

The merger between Great Places Housing Group ("Great Places") and Mosscare St Vincents Housing Group ("MSV") will be delayed by a period of up to 3 months.

The merger, by means of a Transfer of Engagements of MSV into Great Places Housing Association, was planned to complete on 1(st) October 2023.

The delay will allow additional time to provide more substantial assurance to Boards on some of the recommendations arising from due diligence, amidst an increasingly challenging economic, operating and regulatory backdrop. Matt Harrison will remain as Chief Executive of Great Places until the merger is complete.

The revised timeline will be firmed up following Board meetings later this month.
