Result of AGM
GMO Limited (AIM:GMO), a leading provider of proprietary wireless value-added
services ("WVAS") currently focused on China, confirms that all the resolutions
put to shareholders at the Group's Annual General Meeting held today in Malaysia
were duly passed.
Eugene Goh, Chief Executive of GMO Limited, stated: "In the first half of the
2007 financial year, GMO has further established itself as one of the leading
providers of technology for the mobile content market in China. The purchase of
a 20% stake in WCI has contributed significant revenue to the Group and has
extended GMO's service offering to the provision of proprietary content for
mobile phones.
"The market in China for mobile content and related technology is still
experiencing strong growth and GMO is ideally positioned to continue to benefit
from these favorable market dynamics. Our focus in the second half of the year
will be on organic growth and I am confident that the Group will continue to
deliver increasing revenues for our shareholders."
