Appointment of Alternative Directors
GMO ("GMO" or the "Group") (AIM: GMO) announces the appointment of Mr. Tan Kay Yen as the alternative director for Mr. Puan Chan Cheong
and Mr. Lam Chi-Wye as the alternative director for Mr. Patrick Yee Chee Wai.
Mr. Tan has a background in banking starting his career in 1994 with the Arab Malaysian Group. In 1996 he joined the IBI Group of
companies as the operations manager. Currently Mr. Tan is the Chief Operating Officer of Green Packet Berhad.
Mr. Tan currently holds directorships at Packet One Sdn. Bhd., Millercom Sdn. Bhd., Next Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd., Next Global
Technology Sdn. Bhd., Salient System Sdn. Bhd., Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., NGT Networks Pte Ltd and is the alternative
director to Mr. Puan Chan Cheong for First Wireless Sdn. Bhd.
Mr. Lam is a certified practising accountant and started his career as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999. He joined OSK
Investment Bank Berhad's Corporate Finance department in 2002 and held the position of Senior Vice President prior to his transfer to OSK
Venture Equities Sdn. Bhd. in May 2008. He currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at OSK Venture Equities Sdn. Bhd.
Mr. Lam is the alternative director to Mr. Yee Chee Wai for mTouche Technology Berhad, GMO Global Limited and MH Capital Inc.
