19/11/2007 10:38 | Note the last update to the jazzy new Patriot website was November 2006. Web updates take about 10 mins, and to prepare them about 1/2 a day so Sort of shows how important shareholders are in all this from the Nomad's point of view. ps IMO Findlay escaped press criticism because he is the only person who seems to have at least tried to turn things around. Jury is still out on success of his performance as CEO IMO. | the_owl
19/11/2007 10:22 | Good article - thanks David. Expensive mistake for me too - but we know how AIM works...and this is a prime example of a great investment choice which never made its ideas work. I think its floored everyone. If the share price drops, what's to stop EMER 'finding a hole' between now & March and using this as an excuse to revise their offer down again just as quickly as they upped it? In the meantime, how will GME fund the work on their books? There's a limit to how long loans will last & (until we have a positive set of results) we still don't know whether the alleged 'below cost' orders are still being delivered. We need a pre-close statement, but none of them seem to know how to communicate properly, nor do we have any sign of the interim chairman being replaced (which I guess he won't be until March has passed). The article seems to have hit the nail on the head. The only people who don't seem able to see or resolve the problems are the people running the company it appears! CompanyFounder - you seem very quiet? | the_owl
19/11/2007 10:15 | Steves2 - your question is answered here It might be sooner than end March - now that I am out, it probably will be. They were waiting for me to sell :-( I have been trying to close my spread-bet a/c. Now that I have cleared GME, I can do that. I will buy everything else in the a/c, but I don't want to buy GME - and can't afford to. | david77
19/11/2007 09:48 | Why the wait till March 2008 for a EGM? seems an extremely long delay for an emergency meeting 4 months. | steves2
19/11/2007 08:39 | I am out - very disappointing - very expensive - but I am not willing to wait until March and maybe into the next tax year. At least my losses are tax deductible @ 40% instead of the 18% next year. Good luck to those who remain in. If there were no tax considerations, then holders should get 23% more than I have received - not a bad return for 5 or 6 months investment. | david77
17/11/2007 17:24 | "I bet you a pound to a penny they still think they are great and it was everyone else that let THEM down." What other reason could there be for awarding the whole board 50% salary increases? | david77
17/11/2007 17:03 | Makes you wonder how any of them have the balls to not resign !! I bet you a pound to a penny they still think they are great and it was everyone else that let THEM down.. Point is its their job to give value for money to the shareholders first and foremost and in that they have failed miserably. They read this thread ! can any one of them even begin to justify why he hasn't resigned............ | murtceps7
17/11/2007 13:57 | Thanks David......interesti | steves2
17/11/2007 10:24 | So we have to put up with another 4 months of the muppets PF and AG in charge....... | steves2

16/11/2007 15:22 | Interesting risk to take. Anything could happen, and still seem to be quite a few dependencies. | the_owl
