RNS Number:4002P Gilat Satcom Limited 05 March 2008 GILAT SATCOM LIMITED AGREEMENT FOR SATELLITE CAPACITY OVER MIDDLE EAST AND CENTRAL ASIA Gilat Satcom Ltd. ("Gilat"), the international broadband services company quoted on AIM (GLT), announced today that it has signed an agreement with New Skies Satellite BV to renew its satellite capacity lease on NSS-6 satellite. This capacity will enable Gilat to expand its services over Middle East and Central Asia, providing internet connectivity to its customers in the region. Gilat will pay approximately five million USD over three years. Gilat's Chief Executive Officer, Roy Hess, commented: "The renewal of this space capacity lease is part of our strategy to expand our global presence and service offering in the Central Asia and Middle East markets. We see the demand for our services increasing in these regions and we will provide high quality and professional service to meet this demand.
