09/10/2006 16:03 | Another good day. I wonder if GTM was mentioned in the weekend press as a decent recovery play. PS. I see the AIM realisation fund also took a stake in Milestone Group (MSG) at end of August. MSG have disposed of most of their business and are hinting at a cash return soon (or some other way to realise shareholder value) | hugepants
09/10/2006 08:51 | Good progress... Will be coming on to momentum guys' radars soon... Doubling very much on the cards for starters imho... | scotswhaehae
05/10/2006 14:59 | Doubt it now....looks like the start of smallish scale investment buyers... Another couple of pence up and momentum guys will enter (hopefully narrowing the spread over time)... | scotswhaehae
05/10/2006 11:43 | Hopefully directors' buying again | hugepants
05/10/2006 10:34 | Seems to be getting underway... | scotswhaehae
29/9/2006 11:25 | Every little helps... Get the feeling we could double in an instant! | scotswhaehae
28/9/2006 17:36 | Directors buy another 550,000 I wish the price would go up | hugepants
25/9/2006 09:06 | A bit more on the AIM Realisation Fund here: In its offer document, Collins Stewart said its goal was to "provide value and liquidity for shareholders". Market watchers interpreted that as an indication that it will take activist approach in some of these companies,. "It's a fair assumption that in some of these they will be very active in achieving results," said one fund manager. "It's a good way for funds to get some of these companies off their books." | kamitora
22/9/2006 09:47 | Directors buy 1.6M shares Thats quite a vote of confidence. | hugepants
21/9/2006 11:57 | First share price progress for a while... Deserves to at least double on current fundamentals and to at least triple on recovery/longer term opportunity factors imho... | scotswhaehae
18/9/2006 13:54 | The AIM Realisation Fund floated on 30th August: The Company has been established to target the realisation of value from a portfolio of AIM Securities. Collins Stewart Fund Management will manage the company's investments. The manager is a subsidiary of Collins Stewart Tullett. The portfolio management division of Collins Stewart will provide the company and the manager with investment advisory services. | kamitora
18/9/2006 13:27 | I checked the latest accounts. Cant see a mention of AIM realisation fund. | hugepants
18/9/2006 12:57 | who are aim realisation fund does any one know did they have a holding prior to this davy this am mention 1.4 cent per share profit yr end 9mil euro cash obviously acquisition was disaster where to from here. | trawl
18/9/2006 08:47 | I find it quite hard to believe the board feel they have the confidence to suggest profitability for the second half. If the mobile phone segment is struggling then further sales declines will lead to losses. Its a big call for them to suggest trading will not deteriorate further after the sharp slowdown from Q1 to Q2. | nickcduk
18/9/2006 08:15 | I agree the acquisition was worse than awful. But the price has totally collapsed to reflect this. Theres no way the shares are overvalued now with 5.5p net cash. | hugepants
18/9/2006 08:02 | HugePants, Put the glasses away I think someone has been tinting them. "The Board has therefore carried out an impairment review on the book value of goodwill and has written its value down to 9.2 million resulting in a non cash impairment charge of 53.97 million." This sort of announcement was quite common after the end of the tech boom, but this was a purchase well after that. I think this is the most spectacular waste of money I have seen recently. Definitely cheap, but with good reason. | scburbs
18/9/2006 07:43 | Interims: Not bad. Net cash of 5.1M (versus market cap of 6M) and profitable Strategy We retain our confidence in our business model. In the short term our focus will be to continue to trade profitably in our existing business and to reinvigorate our current product offerings and sales channels. In the medium term our low cost, largely outsourced business model can provide the basis for the distribution of a wider range of products via our internet, print and television marketing surfaces. The challenge is to develop the business model at a modest cost while safeguarding our financial resources and growing our existing strategic market position in the mobile phone contract market. | hugepants

05/9/2006 10:08 | First stirrings of buying at what looks an absurdly low share price? Very interesting times! | scotswhaehae

02/8/2006 16:30 | Yes as you say. Would think at this level at least a hold - though maybe another shake down in run up to results in end of sept. Dont hold but interesting to watch what develops. | tole
02/8/2006 16:02 | Cheers. Dont understand the reduce rec though. It doesnt make sense when company is profitable. Or do they think GETM should be valued less than its cash??? | hugepants |
