17/11/2016 09:18 | Unfortunately an underground resource always ends up with much lower percentages of gold and copper than expected. Sirius Resources ASX:SIR had a Nickel result at 4% to 6% and copper from 1.6% to 2.5%. The final resource gave Nickel at 2.2% and copper at 0.9%, from memory. Probably the true reason imho that surface gold was not going to exceed 1g gold per tonne for GEO. Then with efficiency around 85% a figure not exceeding 0.85g per tonne. The lower the amount of copper then a better result is needed. A copper price nearer $4,000 and gold nearer $1,600 would change everything. However, a collapse in the price would be very difficult. | noirua
16/11/2016 12:54 | Well at least they are starting to get themselves together now with some sort of resource estimates even though its only initial mine resource estimates. As you say a clear plan to first mining and first revenues will take a little time, but the company should be in a much better place at the middle of next year. With the high grade gold at surface and infrastructure in place for processing at the partners plant, startup costs should be modest. Regards, Ed. | edgein
16/11/2016 11:31 | The question mark remaining is a forthcoming drill program that shareholders are yet to be updated on. Following this a statement on the resource. It is no longer dig-it-out at surface. From this we can see the original plan to supply ore in the third quarter of 2016 will be pushed back well into 2017. The company looks to have a rough plan in place and that's it really. GEO will probably have a few Broadcasts in the coming week or so. Unfortunately the company proved to be flakey on its first certainty to shovel ore in October 2016. May not be able to ditch this further uncertainty easily. A big placing at 8p will hold the share price back. However, on the plus side is the rising price of copper over the last year. Up 20% in the last month. So the gamble on production looks better. Lead up 35% and Zinc up 70% over 12 months are big pluses in sideline metals for Georgian Mining. | noirua
16/11/2016 08:32 | 8p Is the bottom. They have funds and there is plenty of newsflow to come which should bring buyers. Market Mechanics will see this at 15p again shortly. However everyone is entitled to opinions. Only a mug goes bearish on a stock at the bottom though. Regardless of what anyone says this will go on a bullish run at somepoint soon...Its just the nature of the markets. | effiert

16/11/2016 08:27 | At least we know why the shares were being held back. No doubt many of the shares went to current holders who last took stock at 14p. Hopefully the rest of us will have a chance to balance our holdings at 8pish. I certainly will, as I think that the road is clear to eventually start some form of production though it is now longer term !! | parsons4

16/11/2016 07:13 | ...the Company will be well positioned to generate cash flow at low operating cost and in the near term by leveraging the benefit presented by the excess capacity available at the Plant. The cash flows generated will then be used to fund the development of a larger resource at KB as well as other target areas within the Company's 860 sq km tenure... 14/11/2016 11:58 | Copper spikes to one year high. Zinc continues run up to 5 year high. Lead at one year high. Gold tumbles due to strong US$ | noirua
11/11/2016 08:33 | Next bit of good news will be very interesting especially on the production side need very positive RNS as this has not yet convinced shareholders or city . | iloveit
08/11/2016 23:26 | That sucks having gold obstructing the Cu!! | scotty666
08/11/2016 23:24 | It's a copper target so any gold in this area is just a bonus. The gold cap that sits on top of the copper, and will be mined first, has high grades. | sclper
31/10/2016 09:54 | well, I have a £1 target here. Simples. | ryan83
25/10/2016 11:12 | taken an inital 200k shares here. like what i see and read. Small market cap, large resource and tiny free float also a bonus | effiert
25/10/2016 10:40 | This is going to be an incrediby volatile stock, for obvious reason,so for my Sins I just accumulate some more when the sellers are around. However-just imagine the gutterbrawl when the short term traders are the only few sellers and only creators of available stock whilst others want to snap up those sales and add to their pile longer term. Sentiment/News/Gold, fight for stock. Meanwhile my suggested required 500Million trading day in OTC is taking place, and it will be interesting to see where it leads, as those that want to sell volumes -can- and those that want to buy volumes - can. In the words of Mr Gold-we are all looking to select and hold a percentage of Gold related stocks that arguably "We never want to sell " Some of those will come from todays Microcaps and those that do could be worth beyond anyone`s current imagination in the years to come. If only we could turn the useless gift of hindsight into foresight, so it`s the risk reward of holding a few such relative Microcaps - until hindsight gives us some better clues as to which we hold possibly becoming "the ones to never sell" . IMHO | richgit
24/10/2016 09:44 | Moving nicely up this morning .Stock being grabbed on any dip if there lucky but this is on the up now. | iloveit

21/10/2016 11:30 | Good post Richgit and I agree :-) In my view the market has not taken on board yesterdays RNS yet and attributed a fair value to that news. | yorgi
21/10/2016 11:17 | We await any Mineral Resource statement with pent up excitement. A half decent statement and this will be hard to catch, especially if the Market has gone beyond shorter term traders to holders prepared to sit until Gold @ somewhat beyond $1900 as an inevitability -yet of course timing is far beyond Mystic Meg as the Central Planners/BIS desperately trying to control their Chaos, will manipulate PAPER GOLD until the last ounce has gone East(or even West) Somewhat obvious that at some point a mere 200 decent holders could eventually monopolise the circa 50 Millions shares available. It is most certainly a risk/reward in the numbers game of holding a few like GEO that "could" mutiply far beyond what most imagine (over time) . When we arrive at the hindsight of Gold firmly beyond merely $1370 and consider the huge shortages of Gold Reserves to come- then what asset value would we apply for Gold in the ground !? Just taking what Mr Randgold suggests as to how short the industry is -and further going to be- for the next 10 years ?! the average will be somewhat far beyond $100 per ounce, especially in the days the CEO`s with foresight know what will happen at Gold $2000 !!-- a foresight that maybe in view at Gold beyond $1370 IMHO. | richgit |
