Shall we remind ourselves of a few facts, as I see our shorter-friends are out in full force, yet still seems hung up on historical issues...

1. Greg is not the CEO, he hasn't been for some time. Mike Struthers is, and there have been huge strides made. 2. The leadership team have not taken any salaries, and continue to spend most of their time in-country, sorting out the issues.
3. Hannam and Partners are working with GEO now - I think people don't quite appreciate the value of this, just yet. All will become clear I'm sure
4. My understanding is that the JV partner has properly come to the table, personally, to move forward a deal after months and months of negotiations with his team (is this a coincidence, now that GEO has new "proper/credible" leadership and advisors (ie increased deal-making horsepower...)??
5. The Chairman is one of the world's most renown Geologists and was for decades Lukas Lundin's personal project generator. Mike Struthers is also Lundin alumni... it doesn't take a genius to see how this might play out.. Lundin is openly aggressive to build their position in the region (licking their wounds after losing out of Nevsun)...


This is mining...it takes time. Yes, there was a terrible previous strategy, but this is being rectified. Also, the global industry is trading below NAV..virtually everyone. In GEO's context, add baggage, a Russian JV partner, then yes, there will be challenges..not to mention the government change... remind yourself (as hard as the fact is, for me included), that it takes on average 20 years for any major copper project to get to production, from day 1 exploration. The point is, yes of course it's important, everyone - should - be able to understand that.

And what if they don't announce it? Endless speculation over coming weeks on here that it's going to be refused, that the minister is obviously hesitating, that there's a problem?

I like to invest in companies that are open with their shareholders, so well done, and thanks, GEO, for keeping us properly informed.

So let's get this straight then "The Deacon" - You do not offer any value to the Minister of the Economy officially confirming his support of the permit approval?

You have also openly refused to confirm if you are indeed Joel Deacon or not? The Joel Deacon who was the biggest bull in relation to GEO and their prospects and even visited the site IIRC (until selling out). There's no issue with remaining anonymous but I find it strange that your opinion has changed drastically if indeed you are who I think you are.

If not then my apologies for putting 2+2 together and getting 5.

One thing that cannot be disputed is that the permits are likely a full on certainty now and I'll look forward to the day when you agree the "milestone" has been hit.

When they receive approval, that'll be a milestone. Todays RNS is not a milestone. Approval has not yet been granted, and that's the only news that matters.

Is that you Joel? You never did reply when asked last time?

I'm delighted that your daughter also approves as she obviously knows her copper plays however an RNS is not needed from her as she is not the Minister for the Economy which is why today's RNS was needed. The main man himself who looks after this whole industry in Georgia has given it his official approval. If you can sit here and say that's not a milestone in any way then my friend your opinions will sadly lose weight instantly.

Also the news is sufficiently material to warrant an RNS.

It is also important for the miners to be aware and for shareholders and the market to receive an update.

A positive step in the right direction. The share price should be 50% higher than its current value just based on the permits, imho. Perhaps this is the start of a steady increase? A little backing and this should gather some pace now...DYOR

Excellent news that the Minister responsible has now officially endorsed the application imho. I would hope now in reality just pretty much a rubber stamp process left.

Nonsense - you posted on a bulletin board that a Q&A with management was imminent and invited people to suggest questions. It's irrelevant that those in contact with you were told it had been cancelled, the fact is that you gave the impression, to the casual website visitor, that this company was upfront and eager to allay investor concerns by engaging with them directly.

A very misleading thing to do, especially given the lack of a follow up post, stating that(surprise, surprise)the event had been cancelled.

I've no wish to communicate with you, other than via public forums; you're clearly some kind of nutcase.

The other gentleman is the CEO so please don't act as if you don't know that. You have made yourself look extremely foolish during your time here but that's no excuse to be rude.

The Q&A is still active and will be conducted just as soon as the company release a full update on permits and / or additional updates regarding other areas.

It was decided that a Q&A right now for example would offer the BoD very little opportunity to say anything that has not already been communicated via RNS and it would not allow them to answer questions put to them by shareholders.

Might I suggest you start acting like an adult and try to at least offer some reasoned debate for the positive or negative because your last 3 posts here are quite frankly embarrassing.
