Appointment and Resignation of Directors 
 
 
 
 
London, UK, 14 January 2010:Genetix Group plc ("Genetix" or "the Company") today 
announces the appointment of two new members of the Board of Directors (the 
"Board") and the resignation of five members of the Board on 11 January, 
following the announcement by Danaher Corporation on 11 January that the all 
cash recommended offer made by Launchchage Limited has been declared 
wholly-unconditional. 
 
 
Philip Bernard Whitehead (58; Chairman of the European Board of Danaher 
Corporation) and Ronald Marcel Peters (47; Chief Financial Officer of Leica 
Microsystems GmbH) have been appointed to the Board. Mr Whitehead and Mr Peters

The non-executive directors Dr James Hill, Mark Reid, Peter Jensen have resigned 
from the Board and the Board would like to thank James, Mark and Peter for their 
valuable service and contributions to the Company. 
 
 
Furthermore, Professor Julian Burke and Terry Pizzie have resigned as executive 
directors of the Board, though will remain with and continue to work for the 
Company. 
 
 
Save for the declarations above there is no further information to be disclosed 
in respect of the appointments of Mr Whitehead or Mr Peters under Rule 17 or 
Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
