Transaction in Own Securities 
 
Gartmore Fledgling Trust plc announces that it has today purchased for 
cancellation 134,000 Ordinary 25p shares at a price of 431.52 pence per share. 
 
The purchase represents 0.75% of the Ordinary shares in issue and is the 
twenty-first purchase of Ordinary shares pursuant to a general authority 
granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 30 
September 2009. 
 
The purchase and cancellation will reduce the number of Ordinary shares in 
issue to 17,727,580. The Company holds no shares in Treasury. 
 
Total Voting Rights 
 
As a consequence of the purchase and cancellation, the Company's issued share 
capital comprises 17,727,580 Ordinary shares of 25p each, with each Ordinary 
share carrying the right to one vote. 
 
The figure of 17,727,580 should be used by shareholders and others with 
notification obligations as the denominator for their calculations by which 
they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a 
change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency 
Rules.
