https://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2021/08/19/3-penny-shares-id-buy-right-now/Too cheap to ignoreLastly, I'd consider finnCap. This small-cap investment brokerage looks cheap to me. It trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of just 6.7x. I reckon it's undervalued as recent profits jumped on the back of strong equity market conditions. There have been many mergers and acquisitions this year, leading finnCap to declare its "best-ever financial results". I'd be wary of its relatively poor liquidity, but nonetheless, I'd consider a small position for my ISA.

Was hoping for a better reaction to the results which were pretty solid. 4 weeks on and we've have drifted by 25%.Tightly held shares which takes very little buying or selling to move the share price Nevertheless a bit disappointing following the last RNS

I suspect that with the new year trading ahead, they have been cautious with revenue guidance.

The key point in today's news was the strength of the pipeline. The great 2021 results were largely known and anyone who tracks these things will know Q1 has been great, however, the future is often unclear. In this case, if the pipeline is close to how they describe it they should be at least at the top end of the £40-50m revenue guidance and beat the Progressive 2022E numbers released today.

Fantastic set of results and nice 1p final div along with massive cash pile at 29th June.

Market has the classic "buy the rumour, sell the news" syndrom today.

Holding and will look to channel funds here from gains elsewhere as they become available.

Fcap are ticking along nicely.
Their target of £100m revenue will be reached earlier than first thought IMO.

FCAP do a £50m raise for Access Inteligence (ACC):

This should generate almost £2m in fees for FCAP if we assume their typical fee structure.

There has been commentary from some that the market for placings has weakened, however, the 10.8% discount here seems reasonable given that it is 30%+ of the market cap placed.

In reality, it seems that the market for rescue placings for deeply indebted companies, or PE IPOs at bonkers valuations, has clearly soured. However, placings for strategic acquisitions and growth seem to be still well supported.

I'm not concerned. They had 12m in cash in Novemeber.

And this from 3/3/21
'As a result, the Board now expects total income for the current financial year to be in excess of GBP43m, approximately 65% up on FY20, and that the Group's profits and year-end cash balance will accordingly be well ahead of the Board's expectations at the time of the announcement of the interim results to 30 September 2020.'

So I reckon it's either MM shenanigans or board PIs.
Healthy co. IMO.

When is the placing.
Haha.
You literally couldn't find a share in less need of a placing.
Also, the fact that employees make up over 50% of the shareholders would certainly make dilution an unattractive proposition.
Plus the (probable) current cash hoard of around£14m.

Another new "all time high" for share price this morning and with shares tightly held and only circa 21% in free float any concerted buying pressure will only drive share price higher.

Waiting patiently for July.
