Board changes

Flagship Finance PLC is a funding vehicle for and subsidiary of Flagship Housing Group Limited, a registered provider of social housing which owns, manages, and maintains over 32,000 homes in the east of England. Today the company announces changes to its Board of Directors and to the Board of Directors of its parent undertaking with effect from 1 April 2023.

Three Non-Executive Directors of Flagship Housing Group Limited have reached the end of their tenure. Board Members Philip Burton (Vice Chair), Peter Baynham (Chair of Flagship Finance PLC and Non-Executive Director) and Paul Remington (Non-Executive Director) will be resigning from their respective roles. The Board of Flagship Housing Group Limited would like to express its sincere gratitude for their contributions and commitment to the Flagship Group's vision of solving the housing crisis in the east of England.

To fill these vacancies, Flagship Housing Group Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board, Cecilia Tredget, Dr Emma Barton and Roger Lee. Cecilia Tredget has previously held several senior positions and comes with 38 years' experience in housing and local government, while Roger Lee brings with him over 30 years' banking and finance experience, specialising in the housing sector, working for lenders such as Santander UK plc and NatWest Bank. Dr Emma Barton has a PhD in Organic Chemistry and 15 years of international experience, across mergers and acquisitions, business development and corporate strategy. All new Board members share a passion for housing, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the tenant voice is heard. As well as exploring and adopting innovative ways to increase the quality of affordable housing.

Peter Hawes, Flagship Group Chair said: "We're grateful for the contributions and leadership of Philip, Paul and Peter during their tenure. Peter Baynham will also resign as Director and Chair of Flagship Finance PLC, following his resignation from Flagship Housing Group Limited's Board. Flagship Finance PLC also announces the resignation of David Armstrong (Director), also effective 1 April 2023. The Flagship Finance PLC Board would like to place on record its thanks to Peter and David for their contributions to the Company and to wish them well in the future. David Armstrong will continue as Chief Operating Officer of Flagship Housing Group Limited.

Doris Jamieson (Flagship Housing Group Limited Non-Executive Director) will join the Board of Flagship Finance PLC as Chair and bring extensive audit, investment banking and acquisition/merger experience to the Board. Roger Lee will also join the Flagship Finance PLC Board following his Non-Executive Director appointment to Flagship Housing Group Limited's Board.
