Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to expand share in Brisbane Airport

    Amsterdam, 17 October 2008

Schiphol Group is to expand its share in Brisbane Airport through Schiphol Australia, which has had an interest of 15.62% in Brisbane
Airport Corporation Holdings (BACH) since 1997. That interest will be increased by 3.1% to 18.72%. This has been made possible by the
decision of the Queensland government to sell its shares.

Last August the Queensland government informed the other shareholders of its intention to sell its 12.38% shareholding in Brisbane
Airport for AU$ 289.4 million. All those shares will be taken over by existing shareholders.

Schiphol Australia has used its pre-emption right in order to retain its relative position in BACH. The business outlook for Brisbane
Airport is positive. Brisbane is proof that the AirportCity concept can be exported successfully. Over the years, Schiphol Group has
supported Brisbane Airport's development through secondment arrangements and by obtaining a seat on its Board of Directors.

Brisbane Airport is making serious investments to ensure its future success. The largest projects concern the extension of the domestic
and international terminals, the construction of a parallel runway (to be operational by the end of 2017) and a number of infrastructural
projects aimed at improving the airport's accessibility. In addition, investments are being made in the development of commercial property
on the airport grounds. In 2005, Brisbane Airport received the IATA Eagle Award for the world's best privatised airport. Eighteen million
passengers travelled via Brisbane Airport in 2007, and 171,412 aircraft movements were registered.

In July 1997 BACH was granted a 50-year airport management licence, plus the option to renew the licence for another 49 years
afterwards.
