03/10/2016 19:55 | Lucky No.7p traded today.. Its a beautiful thing to watch. | maccamcd
01/10/2016 09:58 | I noticed two late reported buys of 800k each at 6.60 pence Thursday. | snowyflake
30/9/2016 11:59 | great summaries guys...thanks for the heads up...i'm thinking of suffocating my gran so i can get the inheritance early and pile into it. | aravali
30/9/2016 11:38 | mac - I agree that it is best to buy on the dips but I have put that message aside this past couple of weeks since it seems to me that it is only a question of time before the wider market catches on to how undervalued Finn Aust is. I cannot say how good the latest acquisitions are yet because they are on the company's admission on the back burner whilst the company concentrates on Pituffik. But Pituffik and the concept of extraction of and taking the sands to market is great in its simplicity. | snowyflake
30/9/2016 11:24 | And one more from iii" FLU" FinnAusts Greenland site is a great prospective primary Titanium source, Found in the form of Ilmenite , it's basically iron ( magnetite) & Titanium, plus a few bits and pieces of other elements. As shown today, this is a very pure form of ilmenite- next year it will be hopefully testing an extraction of ilmenite by dredging, no big mine to build..... I'm convinced people are just not comprehending the opportunity here ! I don't mean to patronise but this is going to be one of the largest amounts of Mineral sands Worldwide. It's capable to navigate 7 or so months a year, with set up and pack up time that's going to leave 5 months of nigh on 24hrs daylight to dredge out some quite stunning grades of ilmenite. For purity see here: hxxp://www.titanium. Look at the website, the commitment of management, the support of Western Areas as cornerstone investor and there is new research out all over the company website. It's got a JORC to come from this years work, they are going for their licence application Q1 2017 in a pro mining Greenland. Everything's on the website, one of the best for info I've seen. This will do very well for the sort of PI who wants a good, honest, very high quality company That may well make you a fortune! FLU. | rampair
30/9/2016 11:23 | That's exactly what I was trying to say in ten words or less! cheers.. buy on the dip is the plan | maccamcd
27/9/2016 11:41 | I have absolutely no idea how to private message mac!!! | snowyflake
27/9/2016 09:54 | Indeed.. I received a taster of the report snowy... Will email if you want it. Private message me | maccamcd
27/9/2016 09:30 | mac - yes I spotted that. The other anticipated grades are also good. The taster that you sent is a repeat of yesterday's but no to worry. Within it in blue is a link to a report the access for which is very pricey. The market has not woken up to this jewel of a company. I have other interests but as and when I hope to be able to add. | snowyflake
27/9/2016 07:56 | taster of the 'Titanium' report by this crowd. not from FAM | maccamcd
27/9/2016 07:30 | works update out today... reads well for our future. "Of significance, a new area east of the Interlak delta has returned potentially the highest-grade estimations from the entire project area to date at more than 90% ilmenite. Figure 2 (see PDF link) shows thick layers of ilmenite rich sands from this area. There is potential for significant amounts of ilmenite at this location" | maccamcd
26/9/2016 13:59 | mac - forgive me quizzing but do the excerpts that you have seen refer to Finn Aust's sands? | snowyflake
25/9/2016 13:46 | Lots of positivity about the Titanium market of the future. Hopefully our high grade product will sale directly into the booming market! | maccamcd
14/9/2016 16:20 | Can u point me to the "comprehensive broker reports" Rampair - all I can see is biased research. Tks | richie666
14/9/2016 16:06 | A very good place to research FinnAust is their own website....it has some of the most comprehensive data & broker reports I've seen. It tells one for example that the Ilmenite quantity is so large that it could be a multi decade operation. The recent acquisitions have had Millions spent on them and the Avenaa Resources projects contain Two excellent lead/Zinc prospects & a Cu Ni prospect hxxp://www.titanium. Rampair | rampair
14/9/2016 12:57 | RichieWhether Macca knows a little more than others doesn't make him insideSurely he can't know what resource we have At this early stage? You got to hand it to him as he is 4 X his money at the moment As to not declaring his holding I'm sure he's looked into it as he wont have anything to hide with getting in so low..so many don't declare not sure why notAnyway interesting to see what happens herePersonally I think this gets to 8p and that will be best of it but hope it's 20p for Macca as he's invested heavily and always good to see others making good money | patviera
14/9/2016 12:54 | With great respect to all posters here, as I'm new to this board may I offer my own opinion on this project. It is, clearly a very large deposit of ilmenite rich mineral sands. It's been known about for decades, but, with climate change it is possible to test properly to see If it's commercial. If the company is allowed to operate on the drowned beaches then that would help enormously, the finer sands are easier to remove directly into a ship. With a coastline of 80kms where people are living you have to do the impact assessments properly, Socially as well as Environmentally. This could be one enormous mine & clearly as a shareholder for quite a while, I see this through positive glasses, it's no good us all cheering and saying how wonderful and then miss a glaring fault. So, I try to read both sides, unfortunately it seems to have turned into a bun fight. If we can keep to the subject perhaps we can learn a little. One of the most profitable mines of this type is in S.Africa, Tormin/Mineral commodities- here is research from Mirabaud giving estimates of EV/ Ebitda for most of the current mineral Sands operators hxxp://www.mineralco In a breakout box you will see values. FAM have to be careful, because this is sensitive territory, we will get an idea of valuations with the exploitation application, so, not too long. They must be careful though to keep locals onside, as this is new & could be profitable- geographically its enormous. Old assays taken years ago show very good grades & the cores look good too. The info is out there, you have to look - where the real prize lies is the assets just acquired - - 28 ton single rock of Zinc, etc sits in the Danish mineral museum. hxxp://www.titanium. Look up the other projects too in Greenland. In terms of bids, I think I'm correct in that if there's a " Whitewash agreement " in place, the majority shareholder doesn't have to bid, I don't know if that's the case here. Best to all sides & reasoned discussion is to be encouraged, apologies if you now all want to shout at me! Rampa. | rampair
14/9/2016 12:01 | Jeez even the broker cannot get the market cap right... it is wrong, it is not accounting for the extra shares they MUST issue to Bluejay but cannot as it would trigger a bid. Laugh a minute this. | richie666
14/9/2016 10:56 | from share price Angel - John Meyer FinnAust Mining* (FAM LN) 6.575p, mkt Cap £32.5m – FinnAust acquires subsidiary of Cairn Energy for Greenland licenses FinnAust Mining reports the commencement of a Social Impact Assessment programme at its Pituffik Titanium Project in Greenland. The work will “aim to identify any potential social impacts the Project may have and ultimately seek to optimise positive impacts, such as job creation and investment into infrastructure, whilst mitigating negative impacts.” The study is being conducted on the company’s behalf by “NIRAS Greenland A/S, an international, multidisciplinary consultancy company”. Prearation of the SIA is part of the company’s preparations for submission of an application for an exploitation and will proceed alongside work to prepare another key document for the application, the Environmental Imapct assessment. “As part of the application for an exploitation licence, FinnAust will also be required to submit a feasibility study, this study is well advanced with further details to be provided on this aspect in due course.” Conclusion: FinnAust is advancing its technical, social impact and environmental studies in preparation for the submission of an exploitation permit for the Pituffik titanium sand project in Greenland.
