Something brewing.

Firstly bid up pre market, when do mm's do that when no news is out.

Secondly very little stock out there. It was 5000 max buy a few minutes ago but
somebody took that out.

Overdue a bounce.

Bonding does not guarantee film success, it is just the guarantee that the film will complete in time and in budget. I guess netflix does not need outside financiers to finance their streaming films and series, which is probably why the completion bonds do not come to picture in their model

Part of the problem has been the lack of shareholder rapport. so hopefully they'll sort this out.By any metric the share price is bonkers

I'd be concerned if none of them buy this low considering what they have paid in the past.

What we need is the directors to spell out their plans. Some presentations etc.

FFI has been around since 1950 so it's not a fly by night operation. CEO, Ransohoff, has been with the company for 32 years so knows the completion contracts business pretty well. The completion contracts business is essentially one in which FFI looks after the interests of film investors by ensuring the film is delivered to budget, so treating it's own investors to sharp practices might attract more than a few raised eyebrows within its marketplace. I can also imagine a few in the entertainment's industry had a punt on the shares so wouldn't take too kindly to being ripped off. Of course that's not 'proof' of anything and you pays your money and takes your chance.

Could FFI get back to 40p? Easily. At 40p it would be valued at $82m. Even if we ignored the cash (of which they had $15m last count), an ebitda multiple of 4-6 (hardly ambitious but probably realistic considering the lack of predictability at the moment) would require an ebitda of $14-20m. They did $7m in H1 and full year 'could' be as high as $13.5m despite the 'timing' issues they have encountered. If they are timing issues then we could easily see $20m next year. Of course 'could' isn't the same as 'will'.

Bought in at 29p. "Ooh, that fall is overdone, surely as cheap as it will get. Look at those prospects." Cretin. Now on a 57% loss. Always be cautious of foreign companies listing on the AIM.

The amount left is so small now that I am considering leaving it as a speculative punt and a reminder to be more careful next time. On the speculative punt side: is there any suspicion that the BoD are crooked or are manipulating the share price in order to buy it on the cheap? Similarly, are the board unlucky or just incompetent? I need this share price to treble to get some form of decent return, is that ever going to happen?

Buywell, I don't mind you posting the bear case. Others are and I've posted negative stuff myself. Just not stuff you know is misleading.
