Quarterly auction day on Sharemark today. No trades. Somebody bidding 35p for 50k and 3 bids at 28p totalling 14k.

Next auction 16 October.

I've received a letter from Sharemark to say that Letchworth has been admitted to trading. They are on the Sharemark website and the first auction is scheduled for 19 April.

Also on the website is the admission doc and a Balance Sheet as at 28 Feb. Most notable in the former is that there are 161 shareholders in total. The latter is worth a look.

Total Assets are €8.5 mill, £0.95 mill and a £0.025 mill Debtor. Total Liabilities are £0.462 mill Creds within 1 year and £0.750 provisions against possible UMD and BM claims.

NAV is £7.336 mill based on an fx of 1.1233.

10.492 mill shares in issue for a NAV per share of 69.92p

Good luck Des and other Letchworth shareholders. I expected an outturn of £6-7m or 57-67p per share. An excellent return for all those who are still in.

I received my Letchworth share certificate and partial cash cheque today. In the next couple of weeks I'll get in touch with management to find out how they plan to keep us informed.

Ignoring online accounts has anyone actually received a cheque yet ? My online account (TDW) was credited yesterday but still no cheque for the rest of my shares. TIA.

Yes, IG paid out today, 126p on rolling and 126.25p on March quarter. Generously, MF Global paid on on delisting a week or two ago.

contoul, I have some FWY shares in a Barclays account. I did not reply to their letter because the letter said that the default option was to take the cash and that is what I wanted to do. I expect to see my payment in a couple of weeks time and so should you. Barclays seem to take a few days longer than others to clear such payments.

No that is not true. If you did nothing with regard to the recent corporate action then you got the default option which was 126p per share in cash. This will be credited to your broker's account on or soon after 25 Feb. You should receive £718.20.

Your help please. I had in my portfolio in Barclays Stockbrokers 570 FWY Shares.As I was working abroad I did not get the letters and concequently did not reply. Means that I did not select any option. I noticed that the shares have been suspended and when asked about them, the dealing department told me that the shares are not trading anymore and my investment has been lost. I can not believe it. I am sure that something has to be done. Is that correct? Can anybody give me some help. I feel like fool.

Thanks for setting up this thread. Put 40% of my holding down the Letchworth route, and I'm currently overseas so will find it most helpful if people are kind enough to summarise any info they get through the post. Cheers.

Thanks manouk. That's more than I expected.

I'm wondering how we'll get any info. Hopefully they'll set up a basic website and also RNS any major info.

Anyway, let's get the cash and Letchworth shares distributed and then we can see how things go.

You are not alone. I spoke to the Registrars. There are around 160 registered shareholders in Letchworth,a few of whom are nominee holders for multiple clients,I suspect.

The FWY Scheme is now effective.

Has anyone else gone down this route or am I all alone :-(
