Le com, thanks for the mention.I ignore all buy a sell advice on these boards and was not seeking any.I am a long term FI oilers invester and I was really musing as to why anyone would sell on the brink of a large drilling campaign as the gains to date are meagre unless you really did buy in at the bottom.I think your sell targets are reasonable and wonder what they would have been had you not been compelled to sell soon (answer not expected).Bon chance.

Le comm only posts on his ongoing battles with posters. I asked him a question twice last week. Ignored.His only comment on the share is from pre pmo deal.The rest is about being M and using resources to invade peoples privacy. My admiration for a sane poster is waning.

Le_com has taken a lot of stick including from Chris and his army of clones.
He has the resources and knowledge that makes him a valuable contributor.

Are we not all a little bit guilty of "bigging" ourselves up at times ?

I have a small quantity of these shares - around £3,500 only which is just over 0.5% of my P/F. So shall I just forget about them? By this I mean, what's the kind of potential here?

I realise this is an impossible question - but AIUI there's a six well drilling programme in which we have a decent stake - so is the potential enormous if one or two come in?

As you may have guessed - oil isn't my thing. I don't even remember buying them tbh - must have been drunk!

Oops ..!!! - Spread-bettors are clearly expecting more volatility in the markets after next weekend, 7th March, and saying that their margin requirements will be extended PLUS SLIPPAGE taken into account! So that trims the wings of those who like to trade close to the spread, - in all markets! They clearly don't want punters to lose big amounts 'overnight' by being stopped out at the open the following day; and of course, it may work the other way too. Beware the Ides Of March ..!!

Colin - the spread is rather tight at the moment - so I expect action - but it could go either way.
The rig has arrived and we'll soon be getting an rNS next week.
No matter what happens today - I'm chilled for this drill.

Baggpuss - meant to add - never EVER take advice from anyone on a BB.
Read people's opinions and strategies - but always work out your own and what suits you. Use the BBs as a resource guide - but always DYOR.

I discovered early on that I could fail just as spectacularly by myself as I could by taking advice from people I didn't know. :)

dont chase the golden ticket. I have been a holder for 5 years now. Hold over 100K shares with a AV 23.45p. I doubt it will hit 50p pre spud. DYOR ALL!!!! Lots of things will hold this back from reaching the dizzy heights PI's expect/hope. Blue all the way up?? haha, if it was that simple everyone would be successful. I know you hear this all the time but DO NOT INVEST WITH MONEY YOU CANT AFFORD TO LOSE!!!! Re-test 28p coming up imo. Good luck all long term holders.
