Posted at 12/5/2011 06:12 by moreforus If you feel cheated as the offer undervalues the company why werent pi's scooping up hods of the shares at 11p over the past few months ?Of the 3 trades over the last few months there has only been sells.. If pi's don't buy stocks and the prices are stupidly low relative to real fair values ie cash and real cash-flow then they only have themselves to blame when a company gets taken over or out ... I don't think it's just FTS at the moment investors are not behaving rationally (well even less rationally than normal!) there are lots of undervalued stocks - it's like the tech bubble in reverse..lack of volume and lack of belief understanding or greed..!! If you dont buy and hold when people are gloomy and pessimistic are you waiting for optimism to return and stocks become over valued before buying? |

(with the little mini-caps I am quite cautious even though I may consider a few (if buy but it sits at the same under-priced share price for 2 years then no return)....partly since private investors often only get the left overs and often don't get invited to the placing of new shares etc by mini-caps...and various deals are 'dubious' eg. Merchant House MHG) (but I guess that without the recent 16p offer then it wouldn't have done so much....although the latent value would have probably surfaced/risen in time) You think the recent 16p buy out price is fair ? (I guess the offer is less than they think it is worth otherwise they wouldn't make the offer imho) (I don't own any FTS...but any buy out should be a fair price) |
Posted at 11/5/2011 14:16 by tara7 For the 10p investors its yet one more case of buying when others live in fear.This stock was 10p in the crash so a very good investment. For those who bought at the float goes to show newver buy at that time cos in effect you are being sold it. |

What right have you above any other poster on these BB to tell another investor what or where to invest.???? You post your views but much of what you state is as we have seen = pork pies. |

I did not send them here, did you.??? Cash is the money from the sale of the FTS US arm plus cash on the books. You might like to read the header of my TARA*S TEN FOR 2011, inc the risk warning. Now, as you know i have been in this stock over two years, how long have you.?? |
Posted at 14/12/2010 17:54 by tara7 My point do your own research, guys like markt have no guts and think they can save the world.All they do is put off investors when infact they can read the RNS for themselves, and see as of 8 AM this morning FTS was valued under cash[after the sale of the US arm] They can also note i got it right buying at 10p in 2008 and have had a 8p divi since. |
Posted at 14/12/2010 15:04 by tara7 Rather a lot of investors wish they bought PXS at 0.6p[went to 23p] OPF 9p to 90p inc divi] NTA 18p to a £1.40p high, and so on.No one, inc me can, or will get it right 100% of the time, however when one 5, 10 and 50 bag shares the odd one that goes down is not a worry.AT ALL. Here you have one loaded with cash and all you do is worry, worry, worry. STAY AWAY FROM SHARES THEY ALL HAVE RISK. |

"The Company has raised #4.2 million (before expenses) in a placing of 3,500,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 120p per share (the "Placing Price"). The Company has 32,524,012 Ordinary Shares in issue and a market capitalisation, at the Placing Price, of approximately #39.03 million. Seymour Pierce acted as Nominated Adviser and Broker to the Company and Avalon Capital Ltd acted as corporate finance adviser to the Company." (Seymour Pierce.....been accused in past years by some people on message boards of dubious actions......offload .....cap. value of fts in 2005 was 39 Million squid. Cap. value now, approx. 10M squid, +/- x. 1/4 of what it was. Shares placed at 120p, now worth 30-35p. Last week 24p. Any investors over 5 years have seen the company share price get shafted....since the company screwed up. (Divs. along the way ?, 8p in 2009 I think....small recompense, if it was me I'd rather have my 120p back !.....(but I have never owned)) I rest my case !..that not a good solid long term investment.....(if people like next annual report then price may go up...but if dont like the report, then instant down.... not good investing imo..... is Tara investing or just ramping to make quick buck and sell out herself/himself ?....no one knows.... (if she was investing then she would not ramp so hard....no need to....she just needs to wait till the next results to lose or make money....) === If you do a search using "Tara7" you will see Tara7 pumping all the shares she/he owns. (Personally I think a chance that Tara could well be male....based on macho style postings !) |
