                 EXPOMEDIA ACQUIRES 90% INTEREST IN EXPOSYSTEMS

The Board of Expomedia, the AIM quoted media group with interests in
exhibitions, conferences, venue management and related publishing, is pleased to
announce today the Group's acquisition of a 90% interest in events business
'EXPOSYSTEMS', from OOO Exposystems International.

Expomedia will pay total consideration of US$1.6million in cash. The unaudited
accounts of EXPOSYSTEMS for the period ended 31 December 2006 showed revenues of
US$1,062,000 and a profit before tax of US$471,000.

EXPOSYSTEMS was founded in 2001 and operates in Moscow, where the Group has an
existing and rapidly growing conference events business. EXPOSYSTEMS currently
organises five annual branded events in the IT and telecommunications sectors,
and the Group expects that these will complement its existing portfolio of
events in these sectors.

EXPOSYSTEMS offers a solid platform for growth and the potential to
internationalise the mainly Russian audience with recognised brands, strong
sponsorship and exhibitor partners and over 2,000 delegates annually. Strong
production, marketing and database teams will add strength and depth to the
existing team within Expomedia's current Moscow business.

Expomedia's conference arm, Informedia Russia, is scheduled to hold over 150
conferences and courses in 2007 - an increase from the 2006 total of 90.
Covering sectors such as Real Estate, Retail, Pharma, Finance and Legal,
Transport, Energy and Communications Informedia Russia is now the leading
conference specialist for Russia and the CIS.

telecommunication events in Russia since 2001 and has a database of 20,000
strong. We are extremely pleased to make a further inroad in buying leading
annual events in specialised sectors that match our growing portfolio of events.

"This acquisition follows the acquisition of the BBPG conference business, also
in Moscow, last December and confirms the Group's strategy of focussing on both
organic growth and carefully targeted acquisitions."
