Reading thru the results doesn't look as impressive as the top line number may appear. Gross profit before exceptionals are relatively on a par yoy and the exceptionals were part of a deal to buy shares back from the ultimate owners in 2002. Then looked at admin costs and these have alledgedly reduced by half...find that hard to beleive...suspect some very creative accounting been used to make figures look better than they really are.

Also as far as I am aware only one market maker on this stock, maybe with some interest that may change??

I looked at this this morning and decided to hold off. Bad mistake! Still reckon there should be more life in it yet, but the nms of 1000 is a bit disappointing.

I went through .comdirect which I use for most deals these days.
Still think Excel are a class outfit; it's just a question of market perception!

I recently took one of their flights (Gatwick-Cyprus). On time both ways + good service.
Bought in at 140 and sold at 178 after they refused a "shareholder discount" for a booking.

May be back, but will wait until that dim fart Bush has finished kicking sand around in the middle-east.

I have work connections at Manchester airport - punctuality and satisfaction from customers using excel are spot on . Management seem to be on track on what they are trying to achieve.Web site is good except when trying to book on certain dates , they do not give any alternatives . Feedback from customers booking through Libra holidays seems to be good and most importantly people returning are well pleased . ( unlike First Choice )

Recently listed and seems to be climbing quite quickly. I have not looked to deeply here but looks interesting. Has been mentioned by MWM in passing on his web site but I do not think it has been one of his tips - that has to be good??

oakville - if it continues to rise (who knows?) it still has to be worth the ask today? Price up again since my first post. Assume that listing price was kept sensible to get the float off the ground. Nice to see a new listing not sinking for a change.

I see that the sentiment indicator on quote page leans towards sells - any opinions on why - because it has risen sharply, possibilty of war - any other thoughts?
