Kensington Group plc (the "Company") 
 
 
Purchase of GBP18.355 million 9.00 per cent. Callable Subordinated Notes due 
2015

The Company announces today that a total of GBP18.355 million principal amount 
of the 9.00 per cent. Callable Subordinated Notes due 2015 (the "Notes") issued 
by it was purchased on 10 July 2009 and 13 July 2009 by Investec Gresham 
Limited, another member of the Investec group. 
It is expected that all Notes so purchased by Investec Gresham Limited will be 
retained in the Investec group or subsequently capitalised. In the event of any 
subsequent capitalisation, the Notes will be cancelled. 
As at the date of settlement of the purchase of the Notes by Investec Gresham 
Limited, Kensington Group plc expects the aggregate principal amount of the 
Notes outstanding and not held by Investec Gresham Limited to be GBP69,767,000, 
representing approximately 79.2 per cent. of the issued aggregate principal 
amount of the Notes currently in issue.
