Placing of ordinary shares raising £4.125 million
Equity Special Situations Limited ("ESS" or the "Company"), the AIM-quoted
strategic investment company, today announces that it has issued and applied for
the admission to AIM of 2,115,384 new ordinary shares of 1p each ("Subscription
Shares"). The Subscription Shares are being issued at 195 pence per share to
raise gross proceeds of £4.125 million (the "Subscription"). The Subscription
Shares will represent 11.4% of the enlarged share capital of the Company.
Following the Subscription, the Company will have a total of 18,590,681 ordinary
shares in issue.
Application for the Subscription Shares to be admitted to AIM has been made and
it is expected that the Subscription Shares will begin trading on AIM on 24
April 2008. The Subscription Shares will rank pari passu with the existing
ordinary shares in issue.
