The agreement will see Postman Pat(R) airing on US network television for the first time. Through its recent acquisition of Classic Media Holdings Inc., ER holds a minority stake in qubo, which launched in the US in 2006 on NBC, ION Television and Telemundo which broadcasts in both English and Spanish. NBC has 99% reach in the US market and the qubo multi-platform offerings includes a dedicated 24/7 digital television children's network which runs across ION Media Networks' nationwide television station group, a branded website and video-on-demand services. Postman Pat(R) will make his debut on qubo's NBC and ION Television blocks, the 24 hour qubo digital channel and the Spanish language channel, Telemundo, in October 2007. Today's announcement follows Postman Pat(R)'s successful US broadcast on HBO Family where the series launched in September 2005. This move to network television underlines the popular demand for Postman Pat(R) in the US. The Company is also pleased to announce today that following the success of the animated series 3-2-1 Penguins! on qubo, where it is the number one rated programme on the branded children's block, ER and its wholly owned subsidiary, Big Idea, Inc., have commenced production on 20 x 30 minute episodes of this popular animated comedy series. The new series of 3-2-1 Penguins! will debut on qubo in Autumn 2007.
